Whatever name it is called, you can be sure of its good services and strategic location in KL's Bukit Bintang area. It is within walking distance to major shopping complexes (Low Yat Plaza, Berjaya Times Square KL, Sungai Wang Plaza, BB PLaza, Lot 10, KL Plaza and Starhill) as well as dining and entertainment hub (Planet Hollywood, cafes/restaurants/hawker delicacies at Bintang Walk, Jalan Alor and Changkat Bukit Bintang). With two monorail stations in its vicinity (Imbi and Bukit Bintang stations), it is well connected to other places of interest in KL as well.

    Backpacker/budget traveller friendly digs. All the rates are per room per night and include a set breakfast of toast, butter, jam, coffee/tea, fruit and a piece of cake, as follows: Single RM45 - RM55, Double RM55 - RM65, Dormitory style beds RM20. Shared toilets/showers - 2 per floor.

    Guest comment: It's a great hostel to stay. Very clean, in a good location, reasonable place, good facilities: air con, internet connection, breakfast, laundry, and a very cool roof top garden. I made many new friends in the hostel.The staff are very friendly and helpful.

    It was a pleasant experience staying in Swiss Garden Hotel Kuala Lumpur. The rooms are spacious with good facilities and services provided by the friendly staff.

    What I like most about Swiss-Garden Hotel Kuala Lumpur is its convenient location between Bukit Bintang/Jalan Alor eateries area and Puduraya bus terminal/Chinatown, all are within walking distance from the hotel. For travelling to other places around the city, taxis and buses are easily available from Jalan Pudu. Additionally, the KL Monorail and Starline LRT's Hang Tuah stations are also within walking distance from the hotel. The hotel itself is superb with all the facilities expected out of a four star hotel in it class (restaurant, business centre, gym, swimming pool etc). On top of that, it is also one of the few hotel in KL with its in house spa facility (Samsara Spa). .

    I haven't stayed here (no reason to since I live not far away) but I've recommended friends who've made good reviews and Naza is a friend of a friend who runs it. There are dormitory style rooms (RM25 per bed), single (RM40 per room), double (RM60 per room) and triples (RM80 per room). With breakfast. Shared bathrooms, 2 per floor. Photos are available on the website. They've moved to a new location a few doors away recently so make sure you have the right address.

    Great location. Surrounded by cafes, restaurants (many are open 24 hrs!), nightlife (though it's not too noisy cos it's in a little road), monorail station nearby. Cosy. Budget traveller/ backpacker friendly! Most other accomodation recommended by VT seem to be hotels so this is a budget alternative.

    Absolutely incredible. Rate included laundry, fully cooked breakfast in the restaurant or continental in the Executive Lounge, free broadband access in your room, 24 hour butler service, in room check in, access to the Executive Lounge with drinks and food for most of the day and the room amenities were fantastic - even included a loofah and bath crystals! UPDATE - MAY 2006 Just stayed again and laundry is no longer included. Got stung with a 400RM + laundry bill which they let me pay only half, but still! For those expecting free laundry - this no longer applies. Free breakfast in your room is no longer an option. You can have breakfast in the restaurant or the lounge.

    Staff and service rock. Attention to detail amazing. Location is close to the shops, very very important

    This hotel was good value for the price we paid. Rooms were big and modern, but there was this weird damp smell everywhere exept the lobby. Not so bad but still. The lobby was really grandiose and a bit more better than the rest of the hotel. Pool area was really beautiful and relaxing. Breakfast was excellent. There was absolutely everything on offer and plenty of it. We had a little mix up when getting our room, so they upgraded us to a club floor room. Service was as good as you'd expect from 4-5 star hotel.
