Affordable Accomodation

Service was really good, staff were polite and well trained
Facilities- there was Wifi. The TV channels were very limited though, probably doesnt have Cable TV. A restaurant in the lobby. Didnt eat there though.
Rooms were quite big and clean, had a good view of the Twin Towers lighted up in the night
Its 5 mins away from the LRT station, that leads to 3-4 stops to Bukit Bintang.
7-11 near by helps when you need beers
Nice wet markets around, good for food, really local culture

Unique Quality: Had a great view of Twin Towers lighted up in the night
Near the LRT that brings you to Bukit Bintang
Wet market around the place, real local culture
Can get a good price via Cititel website

Easily Accessible Hotel

Stayed at the hotel for 2 nights over the Easter weekend.

It was conveniently located just about 100 meters away from Chow Kit monorail station.

You can get into most places of interest in KL using the transit network, instead of being held up at the infamous traffic jam of KL.

Good value for money as well.

Unique Quality: Accessibility to other areas via the transit network of trains.

Stanford Hotel

Pleasant stay but if I have a chance, I would prefer to stay somewhere else.

Unique Quality: Stanford Hotel Kuala Lumpur is located in one of the oldest and less glamorous area of KL yet with exciting commercial sections of the city in its surrounding. The hotel greatest strategic advantage is its proximity to the internationally renowned Putra World Trade and Convention Centre which is a short walk away, as well as other shopping and entertainment oulet.

Know of any hotels with 2 double beds? 4 adults in a room?

by bloc

Hi there,
I'll be travelling with family and I was wondering if anyone knows of any hotels in Kuala Lumpur that have rooms with two double beds? It seems that on all the online hotel booking sites, most rooms have a max of 3 adults and are likely 2 single/twin beds. Rarely ever 2 double beds.

The norm in North America is 2 double beds in rooms so I find it odd it's different there.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

why don't you browse through this website, www.malaysia-bnb.com. The place is called FJ Inn-Holiday Apartments. I've stayed there before with my family and we had a great time!

i recently stayed at Berjaya KL Plaza Suites with my family, it was great. I paid RM340 for a 5 night stay in a 2-bedroom apartment (1 king size bed in one room , and 2 double beds in another) with a kitchen, dining and living room. It even had a laundry room!

To top it off... it was right smack in the Bukit bintang area where all the action is. In fact, the hotel itself is on top of a mall!

check it out... http://www.berjayaresorts.com.my/
