P Ramlee, the film legend of 50s to 70s, used to hang out at jalan haji hussein
a bustling area where locals do their shopping
literally in front of the hotel
almost 24hrs .....
Unique Quality: strategically located for durians, cockles, muttton soup, mosque, fruits and lots of fruits, outside laundries, veggies n fish
nearby at lorong hj taib more fruits at wholesale prices, esp mangoes
walk-in rate was m$115 for standard room @ march 2009
