Good in 2000, Great in 2011!!
I stayed in the Concorde back in Dec 1999, it was a nice hotel back then, well run and the rooms were clean and neat and very functional. The Hard Rock being right on the premises was also great entertainment.
Fast forward 11 years and the Concorde is in the middle of full renovations, we checked in from a walkin after nothing but issues at the Corus Hotel, the Concorde manager was well trained in customer service and prompt. We ended up with a deluxe renovated room and the rooms are superb for the money, excellent decor, modern facilities, up to date electronics to suit all your needs, and a brilliant bathroom that was well designed and very roomy.
Curtains that actually block out the light, we woke thinking it was the middle of the night, a dark quiet room and a classy bathroom are two major things one wants when spending a lot of time in hotels.
The new breakfast restaurant is fresh and airy and bright, plenty of good food, lots of stuff cooked while you wait, and the general feel of the hotel is one of clean functional charm, its well worth staying in this hotel especially with the renovations bringing it up to brand new.
The location is just a bonus with the monorail 3 mins walk away, the towers 7-10 mins stroll, all the major nightlife around the corner, the KL tower is a 15 min walk, its one of the best positioned hotels in KL.

Good hotel in a perfect location
The wonderful thing about the Concorde KL is that it is located within 10 mins slow walk from the Petronas Twin Towers. And it takes about 15 mins to walk to Bukit Bintang. So it really is located in the best of both worlds. There is a monorail station (Bukit Nanas) which will take you throughout the city centre. Not too far away is the Dang Wangi subway station which leads you to KL Sentral. Hence, those who are arriving KL Sentral via the KLIA Express can connect easily on the metro line.
Room quality is superb, one of the very best for the money you pay. Beds are nice and extremely comfortable, bathroom is large and well stocked. Overall, this hotel may cost a bit more than some others, but its money well spent.
Unique Quality: Great view of KL Tower (Menara KL) and next to clubbing central, ie, Jalan P Ramlee. Of course, its just 10mins to KLCC

Golden Triangle Hotel
Concorde KL is on Jalan Sultan Ismail and within walking distance to KLCC, Jalan Bukit Bintang, Petronas Twin Towers, Beach and Thai Clubs and also a stone's throw away from the mono rail station.
The Hard Rock Cafe is housed within the Hotel and worth considering for it's location and convenience.
Unique Quality: The Crossroads Lounge offers non stop music from around 7pm until late. There are normally three different bands playing so there are no "break times" save for the 5 minutes it requires to change over. Laid back and a nice place to chill out.

great hotel
I reluctantly booked this hotel after reading both good and bad reviews.
we were extremely happy, so much that we have booked to stay here again.
we had an executive suite with a joining room.
each room had a large bath tub, the exec suite had 2 toilets a king bed and a fold away bed(by request)
Unique Quality: had a great size kids pool which is the reason why we stayed here.
very close to the monorail station and connected to the hard rock cafe.
the breakfast selection was beautiful, also we had a couple of meals in the resturant at night and paid for 1 and recieved 1 for free.

Next to Hard Rock Cafe KL
Looks good on the outside, however the inside not so impressive.
We got a room with a choked sink and bathtub. Complained twice, still no action taken. Lucky, we did not spend too much time in the room, just for sleeping..

One of Kuala Lumpur's outstanding hotels
I would recommend this hotel for the following reasons: 1) safety 2) less noise 3) comfort 4) breakfast buffet 5) location
Unique Quality: The live bands perform every night at their bar. The hotel has great cocktails. Well, I can't speak of their huge swimming pool because we went shopping all day long. The Twin Towers and the metro are walking distance. There are bars, great restaurants from the hotel itself and yes, a number of cash dispensers around...

Best Stay for Clubbers
I've always loved the Concorde. Whenever I'm in KL, I try to stay here. The standard rooms are comfortable and the service is expected of an international hotel.
TIP: Get a local to book the hotel for you. It's even cheaper than booking online! Applies to all hotels in KL.
Unique Quality: It's attractions are that it's located conveniently in the city centre and it has the Hard Rock Cafe right downstairs! Cheap local food is available right outside the hotel. Come Friday and Saturdays nights, you are surrounded by the hottest clubbers.

Sheer luxury
This was in fact my best hotel stay ever (or so far): I arrived in the middle of the afternoon in this cool reception, sweating and looking like a real tourist. The assistant checked my paper (internet booking) and then guided me to the 'premier check-in'. First I thought that there was something wrong with my booking but it wasnt: I really had booked premier service! I was offered a drink and then checked in and introduced to the hotels amenities and services. The 'premier assistant' led me to the 'premier elevator' which brought me to my 'premier room'. Quite premier, isnt it? ;-) Well, the room really was a cracker (check the website), food was great and as the Hard Rock Cafe is within the same site, I had to go nowhere else. If you're interested in the hotel's medical service (e.g. treating sunburns), just post me a message.

Hard Rock Cafe is in this Hotel!
An hour's drive from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), the hotel is located in the golden triangle of Kuala Lumpur, amidst the bustling business centre and major tourist attractions.
It is a 10-minute drive from the Putra World Trade Centre, within walking distance to the Malaysia Tourism Center (MTC), Suria KLCC Shopping Centre, Petronas Twin Towers, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre and Kuala Lumpur Tower.
Unique Quality: The Hard Rock Cafe (the Malaysian chain) is located within the premises of this Hotel. You can enjoy western food and rock music, party till the wee hours of the night and then crawl back to your room in the Concorde Hotel.
