Very nice hotel to stay, worth spent money

Actually I can't find anything which could darken my stay in this hotel. I was very satisfied with services provided by the hotel. Employees were always ready and happy to help. Room was little bit warn out, you could see that it is not a new hotel. But on other hand, everything was clean tidy. Hotel is located outside Kuala Lumpur, so will travel a lot if you need to go to the city.

Beautiful Hotel and Great Customer Service!

This hotel is gorgeous and has an extremely helpful & courteous staff. The rooms are quite big and there are several stores within the complex. There is a pool and massage services available. The food is FANTASTIC. I wouldn't eat anyplace else.

Pamper yourself at Sheraton Subang

A cosy and hospitable hotel that offers you peace and tranquility from the hectic city life.

Lying just minutes from the Subang Jaya KTM Komuter line, it offers you luxurious amenities and rooms to unwind and recuperate from the hectic city lives.

Ms YeeSeong Yee at the Reservation Desk (yeeseong.low@Sheraton.com) has been
very helpful in our planning for the trip.

Unique Quality: Great pool, gym, jacuzzi, restaurants, large comfortable rooms etc.

Very good hotel at the Subang area

I had a good time staying at the Sheraton Subang Hotel and Towers. The hotel is luxurous, the food is good and the staff are friendly. This hotel also has lots of rooms to hold conferences and other functions. The LRT train station to the main Kuala Lumpur city is nearby, as well as several shopping centres such as Subang Square, Subang Parade and Carrefour. There are a number of eateries just across the road as well.

Advise on transportation

by samtan1

Thanks to fellow VTers for their response to our earlier message.

I just found that the hotel we're staying at, Sheraton Subang is
pretty far from the city centre.

Can fellow VTers advise us how to get to Sherton Subang from Puturaya
bus station via the LRT or trains services.

Thanking you in advance for your advise.

Kind Regards,

I'm not sure if there's a direct bus or city train there, but I don't think so. The best way is to get a taxi, ask for the meter if not ask how much it will cost without the meter. It can cost about 40 RM.Why did you pick Subang Sheraton unless you are doing business around the area? If you are holidaying, try to change your hotel to the city. It's really quite far to travel to the city everyday with bad traffic and transportation cost etc...Let me know if you have more questions.

Thanks LengLeng for her advise.

I got the following advise from Tourism Malaysia (pretty efficient I would add) and would like to share with other VTers heading in the same direction:

Dear Sir/Madam,

There is no LRT station that goes to Subang. However, you may take the KTM komuter (from Kuala Lumpur Station) and purchase a ticket to Subang Jaya. The train has two directions. Take the train that goes to Port Klang and get off at Subang Jaya Station. It cost RM1.80 one way and takes about 20 minutes journey. There are no direct bus from Subang Jaya Station to the hotels you'll have to take a taxi. A taxi will cost you less than RM10 one way.
Alternatively, you can take a taxi from Puduraya direct to Shareton Hotel Subang. It will cost you approximately RM20 and the journey takes about 40 minutes depending on traffic conditions.

Thank you and Have A Nice day!

Regards,
Sue

Have you checked with the hotel to see if they offer a shuttle service? My hotel offers a shuttle that goes to the two malls and the train station.

Your other option is to take a cab to Kelana Jaya LRT station which is 10mins or less from your hotel. There, you can take the LRT into the city.
