Central location

I booked our family room (1 single bed, 1 double bed) for RM178 through Grand Reception, a hotel booking service company. The normal price is RM225. Although this hotel is not well known, I was happy with its facilities and cleanliness. I chose this hotel due to its central location. We were on the 11th floor so did not hear the traffic noise. The reception is friendly. What made us move was the breakfast (included in the package). Boring and the taste is just ok. Rather than pay for something we would not want to eat again (we were in KL for 4 days), we decided to look for another hotel which did not include breakfast in its price.

Unique Quality: At Jalan Sultan, 2 mins walk from the end of Jalan Petaling. Clean & looks newish. Lots of useful shops nearby-travel agency, supermarket (UO), Popular Bookstore, 7-11. A safe location. The hotel has smoking & non-smoking rooms so specify what you want when booking. Our room had jug kettle, coffee & tea, toiletries, towels, tv. The air cond is centralised (so not adjustable). Free use of iron (in the common corridor).
