Not the best place for winter clothing and if you find them, probably out of fashion :( I've read advertisements for winter clothes in one of those shops in Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman - google: chotirmall winter clothing

You can pop by to KLCC or Mid Valley megamall, there are few shops sellng winter clothings, but its usually more expensive here, comparing to countries with snow.. :)

Travel Tips for Kuala Lumpur

Must visit Mid Valley shopping...

by sha08ron

Must visit Mid Valley shopping mall, touted as one of the largest shopping mall in Asia. It's really huge. You can take a taxi there easily. Fare is about 7-8RM .Have fun... Must visit Sunway Lagoon. That is one of the reasons you visit KL!! Forget about the dry park, just buy your ticket for the wet park which includes all the water activities. Remeber its closed on TUESDAY! Some taxi driver told us that Sunway Lagoon is open 24hrs everyday! Things are expensive at the shopping mall beside it.. you can get most things cheaper in town.

Tricky Menara

by momossa

If you are at Petronas towers and want to visit Menara Kuala Lumpor you will find that it looks very near to walk to. But the tricky part is there is no short cut to the Menara from the Petronas towers as far I know and yu have to take a long walk around the tower which itself is on top of a hill.
I bet you will loose some weight while going up to the tower entrance on foot.
Better take a taxi to save time and effort.

Kuala Lumpur Tower

The best observatory in Kuala Lumpur and there offers Chinese guide. (various languages are available) There are totally 12 spots for observation. One can view Batu cave in distance, twin towers and city center.

Cool Fun at Genting Highlands Resort

by Dreks

Space-Shot ride at the Outdoor Theme Parks of Genting Highlands Resort!

(The towering 'post'in this photo.)
If you've been scared of heights, your quick upsurge towards the sky without warning, can give you a very humiliating scream of your life....but it's worth the experience!

Multi languages

by l_joo

What you need to be aware is the multi languages of way of communicate. Generally 4 languages speaking at one time is common thing, and they way we speak is very different in mix of local slangs and many funny reasons, tourists need not know so much, unless you want to read our country's education history and political history etc. Picture is a table selling local newspapers, this kind of scene is too common in Kuala Lumpur, just relax, pick your language papers to read.
