Accommodation Nestled Between Serene Surroundings

This hotel is located 35 - 40 minutes from Kuala Lumpur or Petaling Jaya and 10 - 15 minutes from Putrajaya or Cyberjaya & Bangi. It is huge and new and therefore has low-occupancy rate. Putrajaya Marriott is more popular with business travellers.

The downside to this hotel is its location. It is way out of KL and the shuttle service is too infrequent. However, if you are looking for a place to stay from a flight transit, this is a wise choice as it is near the airport in Sepang (KLIA).

I had a very bad experience at this hotel because the male receptionist ignored me when I was trying to check in. I waited for about 10 minutes before he approached me (maybe I didn't dress right!) and that is after I've drummed my fingers on the counter profusely.

I also feel that the exterior of the hotel needs a fresh coat of paint as it looks as though it is not properly maintained and does not reflect its 4-star reputation.

Unique Quality: The room interior is exclusively designed with upmarket quality and feel. Every night there is a turning down service where the chambermaid puts a piece of chocolate/cookie on your pillow. Also, the bed is soooo soft and the pillows are soooo fluffy..... makes me want to go to sleep..... zzzzzzzzzzzz........

Neo-classical hotel, Marriott-style

On first impression, the resort is beautifully done with modern gothic architecture. The main entrance opens up to a fabulous resort feel, with large archways and spectacular fountain. The lobby of 2-storey level was too huge for me, and can get noisy and crowded. The pool is very nice, with lush greenery and superb facility. The room is of a standard Marriott offering, with comfortable bed, average-sized bathroom, sofa and carpet floor. Overall, very good resort, but not comparable to the neighbouring Shangri-la Putrajaya which I prefer.

Unique Quality: The Gothic architecture, the large swimming pool, the landscaping

3.5 out of 5 starsHelpfulness

Best that I have experienced so far...

Spacious room, king size bed & nice bathroom. Each room is provided with iron & ironing board.

Facilities include cafe, lounge & swimming pool etc.

Access to rooms are secured as u need to use your room card key before you can go up using the escalator.

Ample car park with direct access to hotel lobby. Parking is complimentary for in house guests.

I have tried the buffet dinner at the cafe & they have a very good spread which are superb & delicious!

Unique Quality: The architectural design of the hotel itself is amazing.

Swimming pool is very very very nice. The tiles used are blue in-colour and equipped with man made waterfall.

Also have a great view of the golf course
