they were 3 bars there, 1 by the coffe shop , 1on a peir overloking all the fish and 1 in the sports center,the picture is the bar at the end of the short pier this was were we sat at night having a drink watch life go by, carnt beat it

this shop had alsorts but was a but awas a bit exspensive , try to make sure you have alot of sun cream , or it will cost twice as dear , same goes for snorkling gear , very nice people in the shop, always helpfull

they had put these flowers in a patern on our bed , they moved them around every day and replaced them with new ones. never seen flowers like these before.

Out of the 1200 islands, 100 hosts some resorts run by tour operator such as HotelPlan, KuoniGastaldi & so on ... this is the only accomodation available at the Maldives (apart private flats of course).

Ellaidhoo is presently run by Kuoni & we got a nice bungalow with the typical open air toilet (in the pic), air conditioning, fan, room phone and a very useful small patio in front of the beach.
It was a cheap last-minute and we went for a 1200 Euros halfboard for 2 weeks.

A friend u could share the bungalow with :-).
Geckos are not dangerous of course and they r quite funny while running; if you hear some noise this could be a gecko singin' a song to the beloved one !! Geckos fighting against big bugs !!!!!

Average price $81 -151 per day for two people with all meals. Book direct and save big. We went through an agent both times and could have stayed more than one week with the savings if we had booked direct with the hotel. Restaurant, sundeck with open restaurant, 2 bars, play room, reception, and island shop.
156 airconditioned bungalows situated directly near or on the beach with mini bar and outdoor bath/ shower, White beaches with clear blue waters, and the best diving and snorkeling in the Maldives. The staff could not be more friendly and helpfull. Make you feel like you are just part of the family. We have been to other resorts and alas we will return to Ellaidhoo and never look back.

Direct booking rates are much cheaper than anywhere else on the net. I suggest you book direct with the hotel for the best prices. On a superior room on the beach you will save approximately 24 us dollars a night between the months of Jan and June which is the high season. Just an example of the savings. There are two categories of guestrooms on the island with a total bed capacity of 156 beds. All the rooms are built around the edge of the island facing the sea.

Standard rooms, back of the individual beach bungalow built in the year 2000 have airconditiong, IDD telephone, mini bar, hair dryer, cable TV, terrace and attached open bathroom with fresh hot and cold running water.

Superior: Individual beach bungalows with air-conditioning, mini bar, IDD telephone, cable TV, terrace and attached open bath room with fresh hot and cold running water and bath tub. (My favorite rooms) Ask for rooms 118 - 138 for nice sandy beach front.

Delux: Two storey rooms (four rooms in a block) with air, mini bar, EDD, terrace, cable TV, attached open bath room with fresh hot and cold running water, bathtub and hair dryer.

A view of the internal bungalows ... of course it's better sitting in fornt of the sea, but if you wanna save some bucks, then choose this kind of accomodation.

this was are room , they were very big and had all we needed the cleaners did a very good job , they had tv, mini bar, fresh fruit , the view was great

Chaaya Reef Ellaidhoo is a perfect getaway!
White sandy beaches, crystal clear blue sea and beautiful sealife
This island was so relaxing and peaceful, the resort was 85% booked up when we went, but you couldn't tell!
The rooms were tastefully decorated and the food was varied and delicious, we will definately be returning as soon as possible!
A holiday everyone enjoyed, even my fussy teenagers!(which is a miracle!!!)

We are going to Ellaidhoo in February. there are 4 in our party. It looks like a small Island and seems to be a haven for divers.
Non of our party dive although my wife and myself enjoy snorkling.
Can anyone give me any more information on Elliadhoo?
