Hulhule Island Hotel: Day Room

If you have a late night arrival at the airport or a 'wee small hours' departure, you may well find yourself provided with an overnight or day room at this hotel. I had spent a week at Reethi Beach Resort and my home-bound flight (with Emirates) had a 02:30 departure time. My Kuoni package included a day room at Hulhule Island Hotel. This meant that I had a day during which I could also visit Male - the Hotel runs a free dhoni shuttle service to Male.

My room was more than adequate - twin beds, TV, shower room, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities. I didn't spend too much time in my room - I took the opportunity of the free dhoni shuttle to Male but when I returned, it was great to have a shower, freshen up and have a short sleep before making my way to the airport on the hotel's free shuttle bus.

Unique Quality: Great views over to Male and some of the nearby Maldivian islands - a few moments more of memories!
