Hotel Family Home

Hotel Family Home is located in the tourist section of Thamel with easy access to everything you need from trekking supply stores, money exchanges to great bars and restaurants. The staff is sweet and so helpful and the hotel manager, Mukti, really goes out of his way to make sure you get help with whatever you need. The rooms are simple, roomy and comfortable. The price is great! Bag storage is provided. There is a limited amount of rooms so it is best to book early. You will get a ride from the airport but do not panic if you do not see a family home staffer there - most any of the cab drivers will call Mukti and drive you to Hotel Family Home where the staff will pay the driver for the 30 min ride from the airport to the hotel. I HIGHLY recommend staying at Hotel Family Home for the duration of your trip!
