Best Situated Tourist Hotel
We spent two days at this hotel with a magnificent breakfast every morning. We cooled off in the afternoons in the lovely swimming pool with its relaxing surroundings. We lost ourselves in the beautifully manicured garden. Sometimes we enjoyed lunch or supper in the garden setting. All in all, guests are treated like royalty in this friendly hotel.
Unique Quality: The management becomes like family. The hotel is so centrally located and if one needs a taxi, it arrives within seconds.

A haven amongst the chaos of Kathmandu
We stayed in this hotel before and after our trek in the everest region. The hotel offers a break from the frantic chaos that is central Kathmandu. The public areas and grounds are spacious, peaceful and excellent. The rooms are a bit tired by western standards but clean and the showers are excellent. The hotel,like most of the area, is subject to power cuts with back-up generators providing some power, but not to the air-conditioning, sothe rooms can get a bit stuffy.
The prices in the bars and restaurants are high by local standards. The food is generally good but the service can be a tardy and sulky.
Unique Quality: The best aspects of this hotel are its location and the beautiful grounds. The hotel is on the edge of the Tamil area and is very well placed for shopping and restaurants. the grounds are spacious, well laid out and well maintained.
