Le Meridien Gokarna Forest Golf Resort

My wife and I stayed here for a few nights as part of our honey moon. We had booked our honey moon in three different hotels. The first three nights in Shangrila Village Resort Pokhra, the next three nights here in the Gokarna Resort and finally two nights in the Yak & Yeti. Out of the three we like Gokarna the best. Right from check in were given special treatment and throughout the stay the staff were excellent. We did a photo shoot in our traditional costumes at their premises which was ideal. Our only disappointment was that the person who booked us out room said that we would get a special cake for our honeymoon but there was no sign of it!

Unique Quality: The property is located beside the luscious Gorkarna forest and golf course, so there is so much you could do. We didn't try gold but we went on a forest walk with a local guide and were able to see some wildlfe; monkeys, dear and pheasants. They also have a indoor pool which they keep heated so it was nice to go for s splash even though it was the middle of winter. My wife and I also tried the spa and had a wonderful massage and sauna. Unfortunately the Jacuzzis were not operating at that time.
