Western world hotel in Kathmandu.
Stayed here for 3 nights. Very clean and tidy! Staff were very helpful. Food was excellent, although only had breakfasts. Would recommend it if your looking for somewhere to stay that has a lot of facilities e.g. pool, fitness centre, casino etc. Taxi's can be got from right outside the door, so transport to other places is easy.
Has a lovely courtyard outside one of the restaurants, sat out there for a while one day and just soaked up some sun.
I stayed on the 6th floor and i have to say, i found the views over Kathmandu very good, lots of things of interest to see out over the city.
I was able to change money at the reception for a reasonable rate, and i was also able to send postcards from there too which made my life much easier.
They have a luggage room where you can leave bags... i left mine there for a long period while i was trekking and they were more than happy to look after it.

Clean, Comfortable and Centrally LOcated
I stayed here for 4 nights and had a wonderful time. The hotel is centrally located within Kathmandu and an easy can ride to most destinations. The rooms were clean and well appointed. Room service ends pretty early, so if you're jet-lagged plan ahead. Food was so-so.. skip the western stuff and go for the Nepali dishes. Chicken momo's were very good. Hotel staff is very polite, I even had someone help me tie a sari. There is a casino in the hotel which is a bit seedy. I would not recommend women venture to this on their own. All the 'employees' are women in micro-skirts.
Unique Quality: Nice pool with views of the Kathmandu valley. You can eat and drink by the pool or up on a terrace at a great grill retsaurant.

Decent hotel, bascily a 5 star with std services.. the casino was preety sad just walked in saw the crowd and just walked out.
