An economic family resort of Nagarkot
Nagarkot is 32 km NE of kathmandu on the edge of the kathmandu valley. Nagarkot is famous for its himalayan views- the himalayan peaks at dawn are a magnificent sight to behold.
Peaceful Cottage & café du Mont, Nagarkot Hillstation is a simple but well-run resort which is north of Mahankal temple. The resort has a varied set of rooms such as budget room, standard, deluxe and the special 360 degree view family room.
Budget rooms are basic without any charm. The rooms are much cheaper and the price is $5.
Standard and deluxe rooms are comfortable with spectacular views from the room and the attached bathrooms. You don't even have to get out of room to appreciate the mountains. The tariff of the room is $ 30. The rooms are simple but neat, clean and very acceptable.
360 degree family room is our special room from which we can see an unbeaten 360 degree views. It also includes a fireplace, an attached bathroom and 3 bedrooms for $ 40 per night.

Low-key and backpacker basic
The resort was set in a nice location and the standard of room (decor) was nice.Room was very clean and the staff were very friendly. The vibe of the resort is relaxing and welcoming. The best value rooms with great views are booked in weeks in advance in high season. SO make sure you get your rooms reserved in prior before arrival.
Unique Quality: Along with its killer location, it remains such a popular budget choice. The staffs are lovely and describe the resort rooms as simple but comfortable. The cosy wood furniture gives the room a comfortably rustic feel rather than the run-of-the-mill atmosphere of so many nearby hotels.

Rural retreats with himalayan views
Peaceful cottage and café du mont is a simple but well-run place with just 10 rooms.It is an ideal hilltop venue to acclimatize for hight altitude adventures.The rooms are comfortable with spectacular views from the room and private bathrooms. You don't even have to get out of room to appreciate the mountains. The standard rooms are simple but neat, clean and very acceptable. It is located at the heart of Nagarkot hillstation with a 360 degree view from the roof. This economic resort has remarkably good value budget accomodation ranging from 4$-40$ per night. The rooftop family room is the best room in the resort with a fire place. Highly recommended to backpackers or family travellers with children. Best value place with clean accomodation and terrific location. The octangular tower of the resort offers a phenomenal views . Nagarkot is famous for its himalayan views- the himalayan peaks at dawn are a magnificient sight to behold.
