Nice place to stay
I found about this place while I was having a coffee at a cafe located at their premises. The staff were smart and friendly. The rooms are simple but they are carpeted, adequately furnished and have AC, TV and hot water. Compared to other places I found it to be very clean. The location is very central as all the shops, restaurants and offices are located right as you walk out onto the street. The view from the rooftop is awesome, I don't know why they haven't set up a restaurant there???
Unique Quality: Nice and simple hotel which has everything for a comfortable stay for a good price. I definitely recommend it.

Great place to stay
Can't beat the location because it seems to be in the middle of where everything is happening. The rooms are not luxurious but decent. Bathrooms are big and kept very clean. Some of the room offers views of the lakes and mountains but avoid rooms facing the road because it can get noisy. The staff are friendly and nice always eager to help you. The hotel also has a restaurant and cafe in its premise which seem popular with the tourists.
Unique Quality: If you are on a budget but do not want to forego clean rooms, fresh sheets and towels, TV, AC and hot water then this would be the perfect place.

Excellent Location!
Hotel Meera has excellent location as it is situated right in the heart of Lake Side just two minutes from the Phewa Lake. There are two buildings one right on the street and the other a little behind where it is quieter. The service is excellent. The receptionist are friendly and always helpful. The housekeeping staff are also very polite greeting you when you pass by. The rooms are simple but tastefully furnished with spacious ensuite bathrooms. The management make it a point to keep everything clean so you notice the cleaners twice a day going and up and down cleaning all the corridors, staircase and lobby area. Most of the rooms have great views of the lake and mountains. They also have a restaurant and a cafe in the ground floor of the main building. Wifi service is free and it is available in both buildings. I would recommend people to stay as I think it is excellent value for money. Choose the building that is behind, it is newer and further away from the noise.
Unique Quality: What I like most about the hotel is the friendly staff and of course its location and the great views from the rooftop.
