Begnas Bazaar
by nigelw6443
A short bus ride from Pokhara is a small village called Begnes Bazaar from here you climb up the ridge between the lakes of Begnes and Rupa for fantastic views.
A friend of mine was here a few years before me and had taken photo's in the village on the ridge. I was returning them and I did get a fantastic reception of the villages when they saw themselves and their children in the photo's. It was a wonderful day out!

Breakfast with the girls
by Saagar about Chhetri Sisters Guest House & Restaurant
Not only is this a delightful guest house, but a good place to eat as well.
Ignore the electric pylons and you will enjoy the morning view of Phewa Lake during your terrace breakfast.
Nothing is haphazard about this place, run by the "3 Sisters", Lucky, Nicky and Dicky. Mixed vegetable omelet for breakfast. Good bread, toast, not the paperwhite thing.
Good breakfast drinks; teas, coffee, juice.
A simple breakfast for three came to NRS 490,-

"little about Pokhara"
Pokhara valley occupies the central location in Nepal and is dominated by the peaks of Annapurna range. Its unique setting may be judged from the fact that the town of Pokhara is only fifty kilometres from Annapurna clearly seen from the valley.
"Climate of Phokhara"
The climate of Pokhara is slightly warmer than Kathmandu with daytime temperature hovering around 15 degrees Celsius in winter and 35 degrees in summer. The monsoon season which lasts from mid-June to mid-September is very wet; in fact Pokhara records the highest rainfall in the country. Best time to visit is between October and May
