Gokyo Resort: Best Hotel on the Gokyo Trek

This was the nicest hotel (lodge) I stayed in on my 7 day trek to Gokyo Ri. The room’s solid, bed's comfortable. The blankets were actually nice enough to use unlike the ones in every other lodge. My room also had the luxury of mirror. It gets strange when you don't see your own face for days at a time.

Make sure you don't pay more then 100nr for a room. I met some trekkers who paid 800nr for a room. Unfortunately, if you are naive, you will be taken advantage.

Unique Quality: Less then 20km's from the Tibet border, calling Gokyo Resort a resort isn't far fetched. The views of the sun setting over Gokyo Lake are unmatched anywhere else. Step outside on a clear night to see the sky light up unlike anywhere else. Try to find the constellations trapped in between 1000's of other stars.
