Swat. Ontinental hotel: Swat continental hotel is horrible
Its fine for those who can survive without wifi and airconditioner. The airconditioner only works if there is no load shedding (which is the case for many hours a day, daily). The wifi only works in the area in front of the reception...if you want to call it a lobby, fine.
I think they are planning to shut the hotel, threrefore not recommended. Its better to stay in even simpler hotels with no frills and very cheap price. They are charging around 20$ which is more compared to what small hotels would charge.

White Palace Swat: White Palace - a royal summer palace
-It is one of the best palaces to relax, about 15 km from Mingora bus station.
-It was used to be Royal summer palace
-This place has good surrounding, beautiful ground, and nearby water stream, with children play area + local shop for gifts etc.
- Food is also good
- I can recommend this one night stay for everyone visiting Swat valley
Great View, Nature tourism, old structure building, white marple ( same as used in taj Mahal) construction.

Hotel River Pearl: Hotel on the outskirts of Mingora
Outstanding feature is its loaction that is just on the edge of river swat. After a five minute walk from hotel you can also reach main stream of river and can enjoy ride of boat or walk around. You can also do fishing from balcony of your room or from open dining area parallel to river.
What I enjoyed here most was the sense of comfort and peace, something I was looking for after long hactic work schedules.
Food was excellent and reasonably priced. They were just offering Pakistani food as it was off season.
