Kirthar National Park - Khar Center: Small Chalets

There are small chalets/accommodation available for overnight stay. Electric is provided by generator, and there is running water supply from underground water. One needs to book in advance from the Sindh Wildlife Department head office in Karachi.

We knew someone who lived in the village close by, and he knew the attendant at the Khar Center, therefore we were given access to one of the lounges for our brief (2 hour) stay. The lounge was connected to a proper restroom; however basic amenities for kitchen, such as plates, stoves, utensils, etc were not available. Than again we brought our own.

Unique Quality: Basically roof over ones head. Not a high standard place, but enough for one to enjoy the surrounding. Small rooms, beds, running water, electric city when required (generator), security, etc.
