Royal Hotel: Royal Hotel
Royal Hotel is situated in main bazar, Naran behind PTCL office. It is a famous hotel among locals & well praised by fellow VTers. Hotel is a little expensive than standard but provides quality services.
Each room has attached bath, Hot & cold water supply.
Room Rent is between Rs. 1500/- to 5000/- (US$ 20 to 55)

LENOX HOTEL: LENOX HOTEL
LENOX HOTEL is also listed in "Deluxe Class Hotels" in Provincial Tourism Development brochure & praised by fellow VTers. Hotel is situated on Saiful Maluk Road, Naran on a very beautiful location.
Hotel has 42 rooms. Most of them are VIP. Room Rent varies from Rs. 2500/- to 8000/- (US$ 30 to 90). All rooms have attached bathrooms with hot/cold water facility.
Again this is a luxurious hotel. Away from Main Bazar. Not recommended for Budget Travelers.

PTDC Motel: PTDC Motel's Pros & Cons
PTDC (Pakistan Tourism Development Council) Motel is situated on the bank of Kunhar River, a little away from main bazar. It has 60 rooms. Both Economical & Luxurious rooms are available. Economic Room cost as low as Rs. 1500/- per night and luxurious rooms may vary from Rs. 5000/- to 8000/- (US$ 55 to 85).
Though Motel is managed by Pakistan Tourism Development Council & listed in "Deluxe Class Hotels" Category by Provincial Tourism Website. But it is not well maintained as it should be. Luxurious rooms (costing above Rs. 5000/- are well maintained but Economical rooms have problems in bathrooms or sanitary or service.
Therefore it is not recommended for budget travelers.
Room Tariff: PKR. 1500-8000
Unique Quality: Location is fabulous. Located on the bank of River Kunhar, in the base of a beautiful hill. Trout Fishing is allowed there. VIP rooms & their services are fine.
Food is not as good as in main bazar, Naran.
No place for Budget Travellers.

Hotel Lenox: Naran's Best Hotel
I made a trip to Naran from June 10, 2011 to June 12, 2011 and stayed at Hotel Lenox. This was my first trip to Naran and I had been planning/getting information from all sources possible. Selection of the Hotel was my top priority as i thought one needs to have excellent boarding facilities while on excursion.

Bonjour from Chitral,
Not suitable for a 60 years old one nor for all 3 females to travel alone, better to keep a male companion with you.
Monsoon to arrive shortly in the area, so slides are common in some parts of the route.

Camps near Lahore Hotel: Local Campsite
Our stay at Naran was pretty long. After returning from Fairy Meadows we decided to stay at Naran for 4-5 days just to relax and enjoy the soothing natural environment. As our interest always is not at all towards luxury, we decided to look for a camp that fits us all (6-7 guys).
We came across some camps near the Lahore hotel. A guy working at the hotel had these camps set up himself to earn extra. These sort of camps could be found all over Naran. The camp that we rented had 3 jumbo mattress with blankets and pillows. It was big enough to fit 10-12 people easily. It was perfect for us. We stayed there for like 5 days. As far as the services are considered, we used the hotel services like bathrooms, corridors, etc. I would recommend that if anyone is traveling without family then this is the best option, cheap and comfortable. Food is accessible everywhere easily. And the rent for these camps is somewhere around Rs. 500 - 1000.
Unique Quality: Food is easily accessible as they also have a restaurant just opposite the hotel. The camps are just at the beginning of Naran. The management let us use the hotel's facilities. No security issues for luggage.
