Serena Hotel is one of the Best Chain of hotels in Pakistan. They have got many branches arcoss the coutnry. Here in Faisalabad, this is the second best branch of their hotel after the new branch in Islamabad. I love this hotel and i would recommend you to must stay here and no where else ! This is a 4 start hotel and most expensive in the city but i think the moeny they charge is not so much in comparision with the quality of hotel facilities they provide.

When i visited FSD (Faisalabad) last time there was a BASANT Mela (Sprin Festival) beign organised in Serena hotel and me and my friend met three italians and british tourist staying and enjoying this festival in Serena. The main feature of this mela (or festival) is the 'Kite Flying Competition' and everyone flyies kites of different colour while wearing bright Spring Colour clothes especially Yellow. So, here in the pic on the left u can see that a Big Yellow and Organge coloured Kite has been made and put on the entrance of the hotel to mark the start of the Spring Festival. In my opinion, Late Febraury is the best time to visit Faisalabad and to enjoy the festivities of the city

Visited Faisalabad City to attend a seminar and had to stay one night, being a Budget Traveller I always look for low cost accomodation and luckily found one, East Inn Hotel, Nice comfortable beds, attached bath/shower, Centrally Airconditioned (which is a blessing, Mercury was touching 40 to 42C) TV with Setallite Channels, Telephone and a Refrigirator. Round the clock room service and a restaurent Highly Recomended.
I paid pak Rupee 900 (US$15.00) for Twin Bed for 2 persons, the guy at front desk is nice and cooprative, their rake rates were 1200 (US$20.00) but when I offered him the price he accepted.
