Rose Hotel: Great Location
The Rose Hotel is located in the heart of the old city in Peshawar but its location is only matched by its excellent ability to get you a guide and guard to go to the Khyber Pass. I travelled to the Khyber Pass April 9th, 2006 and the day previous to travel was a Muslim holiday but the hotel managed to hire a guy named Prince Malik (recommend him highly) and he made all the arrangements within hours. Overall, they are top quality and your best bet in travelling up the Khyber safely. Great.
