East View Hotel: Murree Hotels
Hi,
Nowadays it's not the peak season, avoid the weekends for visiting Murree, a room could be found from 800 Pkrs in a hotel.

Or some small cabin type accomodation after talking to some locals, but Murree is a touristy and noisy place nowadays, because of the closure of Swat valley.
Better places're Thandiani, Ayubia etc.

Al-Qamar Hotel: Pleasant stay at Al-Qamar Hotel
Al-Qamar Hotel is my favourite hotel in Murree. I stayed there twice. Wall to wall carpetted rooms with attched bath, 24 Hours hot/cold water, dressiing, T.V. with Dish Antena, Chairs/Sofa & table. Provide double blankets. Gas Heater is availble on request.
Per night room rates are not fixed. An Average double bed room rent is Rs. 600 to 1000 per night. I've paid
Rs. 500/- (April 2005), (taxi driver's commission included)
Rs. 600/- (Jan 2008). (I went by myself)
Rates increase to double in the summer season (June - September).

Shabistan Hotel: the best and cheapest accomodation in mall,murree
well the visit there in murree i was thinking it would be too costly but in this hotel i reailzed satying at my home clean neat and cheap

Many: Budget Accommodation
There are plenty of budget accommodation at Murree especially near the centre, Mall Road. Travellers can always check the condition of the hotel/guest house & negotiate the price before make any decision.
Price of budget accommodation during off peak season are ranging from Rs500 - Rs1000 (Approximately USD30).
Some of the guesthouse only provided gas type heater & they charge approximately Rs30 per hour. It is cheaper than electricity heater BUT you will smell the gas the whole night & I think it is quite dangerous.
Suggest to look for electricity type heater which they charge approximately Rs40 per hour.
If you want to rent for the heater for the whole day, always negotiate the price first.

Lockwood hotel Murree: A good choice
A good peaceful hote for tired minds.Hotel rooms need improvements and while the food in hotel was nice.

hotel woodberry: luxuray at affoardable rates
after many trips and accomodations experiences i concluded "woodberry" best at services and place , in murree proper all hotels are situated three sides one at mall road second imtiaz shaheed road and kashmir point road the mall road hotels are older than both other catogery because they were first as murree was developing and they are not well maintained and up to date also there is big problem that is traffic on mall road tarffic is not allowed and on kashmir road is always in traffic jams condition due to heavy load also there is lack of parking,
other side kashmir point road there are some new hotels build in recent time which are according to todays living and services and dont have problems like traffic jams and lack of parking but they are far away from mall road , so there i found only hotel woodbery situated at the best site around murree at 5 minutes walking distance from g-p-o towards kashmir point road also this road is free from traffic any time there is no traffic jams and parking problems like imtiaz shaheed road and mall road,
also the services given at wood berry hotel are the best hotels arround murree,
i rated it third after pc bhurban and punjab hutts in murree region,
Unique Quality: easy to approach to mall road in both walking and driving ,no traffic jams and parking problem like imtiaz shaheed road or mall road,

Tree Tops Hotel: Peaceful Garden
Tree Tops is on the out skirts of Murree proper. My husband and I go there to relax at all times of the year. The manager is friendly and the place is clean and there is a large lawn to relax on. It is a very family oriented hotel. Short walk to Mall Road.

there are many hotels on mall and pindi point but the best one is marhaba on mall i staed here many times and also it has a very reasonable charges for stay

Very nice hotel.
Clean rooms.
Clean gardens.
Good food.
Polite and knowledgeable staff.
Very good location.
Very good view.
Fridge in the room. The water bottle in the room was Rs40/ but each canned drink was Rs 69/-.
Unique Quality: Very nice view of the valley from the rooms.
The double rooms don't have as good a view but the rooms themselves are very nice from the inside.
I particularly liked the two-bed rooms.
The management staff was good.
Extra mattresses cost money. Share the bed with the kids.
