i need a suggestion
me and my boyfriend is planning to go on an out of town trip for our anniv. but we are very confused to whether we should go to tagaytay or batangas. which is better?

It really depends on a lot of considerationss: Foremost, what do you love doing together? What's your expectation of an anniversary treat? What's your budget? Do you have a private vehicle to enable you to move around easily, or do you enjoy commuting? Batangas and Tagaytay are both beautiful places. You can browse the travel pages of VTers who've been there so you can have an idea of what to expect. But I'm afraid only you can answer which place is better for you. Anyhow, I wish you both a Happy Anniversary!

Edwin is right. If your time and budget will allow, you can have a wonderful time going to both places.

Since you are a newcomer in VT, just spend some time exploring virtually your destinations. You will find a lot of useful info. If you are talking about Batangas, why not Puerto Galera, especially White Beach? More cheap and more freedom to go around.

If it's just for a day tour, Tagaytay is the best option. You can see the sights, have lunch and merienda in any of the restos there, and be back in Manila in the evening. If you're planning for an overnight trip, you can do both. Do a day tour of Tagaytay then drive to Batangas in the afternoon.You can choose Nasugbu (Munting Buhangin Beach resort), Lian (Matabungkay Beach) or Calatagan (Golden Sunset Beach resort).
