Almont Inland Resort: THE place to stay if you go to Butuan City

This place is hands down the best place to stay in Butuan. We didn't find out about it until we arrived, as it has no internet presence whatsoever. We were glad we hadn't prepaid online for our room at the Hotel Karaga, for although it was clean and centrally located, it was more expensive and not at all in the same class as the inland Resort. Daily rate was about 2100 pesos for a clean, modern aircon room. Amenities are very good, especially the pools. There is a free form main pool and a large children's pool as well. Very good open air restaurant with reasonable prices.

Tubay Mountain Beach Resort: Laid back hideaways

Unique Quality: a combination of sun,sand,sea and slopes makes this resort by the sea at the foot of the mountain a must see for nature tripppers and the weary urbanite who wants to get away from it all

Hotel Karaga: Best choice downtown hotel

Unique Quality: its location along Montilla Blvd., one of Butuan's main thoroughfare makes it the choice hotel for business travel and short stays. From the hotel, one can easily reach the city's landmarks such as the Langihan Market, Rizal Park, St Joseph Cathedral, banks, and commercial centers.

Dotties Place: Butuan's Finest Hotel

Dotties place is such a nice hotel and relaxing place to stay!they have a very big swimming pool near the hotel rooms and overlooking to the hotel view inside and outside!they have a mini bar and billiard hall right next the pool and the rooms are clean and foods are great!

Unique Quality: big and amazing view of the pool and the unique and native tables and chairs near the pool!

this place never fails to amaze me.... the Gazebo --- affordable resort in Cabadbaran City, Agusan del Norte....

room rates for as low as P 800 pesos gets backpackers , students and families to keep on coming back.

The scene is just spectacular with 3 large pools and flowing spring waters , overlooking mountain view and a cordial staff.... Two thumbs up indeed.

Riverside Marina/Bed and Breakfast: Breezy Riverside Accomodations

Cool breezes off the Agusan River at this low key, casual Bed and Breakfast.

No raising of prices for outsiders here.. pay the same as the locals 1000 pesos a night for 1 person including breakfast.

They understand western style service as its an American married to a filipina.

Unique Quality: Great sized room with free Wi-fi in the room. Cheap food for other meals than breakfast just work it out with the owners. They are very laid back and accommodating.

You can rent a speed boat to go up and down the Agusan river if you wish.. or if you feel adventurous you can charter the big boat and go out on the ocean for the day.
