Microtel Inn Cabanatuan: Cozy Inn

Microtel Inn is located within an area of the city which, probably, used to be rice fields, but presently being developed as upper middle class subdivision. It's several kilometers from the national highway (and the all-day traffic) that contributes to the "countryside ambiance" of the inn and its surroundings.

Its double room has 2 queen-size beds that can comfortably accommodate 4 people (2 pax/bed). However, the room rate is good for 2 pax only thus, extra person is charged an additional fee.

The hotel has swimming pool and bar which is detached from the main building to ensure that the stay-in guests were not disturbed by the band's noise.

Unique Quality: Microtel serves complimentary flowing coffee 24/7. It also has an ice-making machine that provides unlimited supply of tube ice. Both are located at the inn's lobby.

Aside from these, what impressed me most about the inn is the ease in the way they handle reservation, payment, check in and check out.

I made our reservation through email and was informed that we can pay upon arrival (no need for me to provide credit card details or deposit payment through the bank). When we arrived, I just gave my name and they presented me with a form that details my requirements. I signed the paper and they gave me our room key. That fast!

When I brought up the matter of payment, they told me that we can settle the payment after we have settled down.

When we checked out in the wee hours of the morning, all we did was return our room key and told the reception that we were moving out. Again, that's it!

It was really a hassle-free stay.
