Accommodation near Balingoan port
Hi..can anyone suggest a place to stay near Balingoan port.
we would like to catch the earliest trip going to Camiguin so we are planning to stay somewhere near the area to avoid waking up and traveling so early.
i would greatly appreciate if you can include some contact details..
a simple comfy place to stay and clean comfort room is enough, since we are only staying there for a night..

If you will be staying on Camiguin, it is probably not necessary to stay in Balingoan.
It is only about 90 minutes by taxi from CDO to Balingoan.
You can stay in CDO and wake up when you feel like it. From Balingoan, the boats depart about every hour.
You can also go by fast ferry from CDO

If you want to loose an arm and a leg, check in Mantangale Resort near Balingoan Wharf. They have a pool, a very small beach front and other facilities. There is a pension house just adjacent to the gate of Balingoan Wharf. However I have not checked the place if it is sufficient enough for budget travelers. Sorry was not able to get their mobile number.

@ kalambagohan: i'll try to check the resort you recommended..hopefully i'll be able to get some contact nos.
@jim: we are a group of 6 and I think that taxi would not accommodate us. according to some posts i've read, it takes about 2hrs if we travel by bus.i'm not even sure if the buses are 24 hrs. we need to catch the early trip bound to camiguin because we have only alloted 1 day to tour camiguin. we really have a tight schedule.

hi Gala , just to clarify it was me who recommended /found the resort in balingoan ,kalambogan just pointed out that it would be expensive to stay there,well there arent any prices on website ,so no idea, big jim -they want to go to camiguin first trip so can do day tour and return again to vdo later that evening ,so if stay cdo ,have to wake up maybe 3am to get there in time to catch first ferry .
