Hello i am planning a trip to Cagayan for 3 months to see my fiance but i cant find anything on car rentals no matter how much I google it. I just want to get an idea what the lowest prices are. I anyone can please help thank you.

There are car rentals in Cagayan de Oro City (CDOC) but they are quite expensive like AVIS and Nissan. Check out this website for more info about CDOC, http://cdoguide.com
Try asking your fiance if she knows any local who can rent out their cars at a reasonable rate.
Becareful with the word Cagayan. There are several places in the Philippines named Cagayan (Cagayan Province, Cagayan Islands, Cagayan de Oro City)and they are not related to each other. Always use "de Oro".

thanks for the response Kalam, i already talked to Avis and you are right they are quite expensive, but i felt like there had to be some other care rentals there that were much cheaper. I know for example in Diplog city they had rentals for $7 a day. Everytime i even google car rental in Cagayan de oro once i click on the website i get no matches found. My fiance already told me that it like 2500 pesos a day, but i felt like i could find something much cheaper.

It think in Dipolog it is possible to get cheap car rentals but in CDOC, I doubt. The city is becoming highly urbanized including the prices of commodities/services. For 2,500 Pesos if that already includes a driver (inclusive of his food) and gasoline for the entire day, I think it is worth it. Ask if there are limitations for car travel. Take note most car rentals will not allow you to go beyond Iligan City. Some are even hesitant to go to Iligan City.

hi im jezzrelle ken... im a owner of a 2 nissan urvan thats for rent... with in cagayan de oro or anywhere in the mindanao area... if you wanted to go around in mindanao with safety i and my friendly driver can accommodate you... i can also give you a discount... you can contact me in my mobile number... 09284009052... my vans are equip with a cold aircon and in a good running condition.

hi there! i guess this reply is a little late. but just in case you still need to rent a van, you may contact boyet (he owns a start-up car rental company in cagayan de oro) thru his email add: frgulle@gmail.com or call him thru his mobile (0927) 815-8150.
you should be able to get a cheaper rate if you rent long-term. am pretty sure he'll give you a big discount. =)
