A Place to Stay

by mea1014

Hello everybody! Mabuhay :-) I need help to find a hotel near Canadian Embassy Makati, possibly like walking distance. I'll appreciate it very much any help I could get.

goodluck to you canadian embassy interview ( I should assume, not unless you have an appointment with the ambassador)..Anyway, book online at www.asiatravel.com using your credit card and look for crowne regency hotel, fr 60 bucks. Its infront of park square , a 2 minutes walk to glorietta and SM,50 meters from Dusit Hotel Nikko. and a 10 minutes (?) to canadian embassy.,

I would suggest Tiara Oriental. I'm not familiar with their rates, but you may reach them at +63 2 729.8888, 729.4917. It is located at Malugay St., back of PSBank Tower which is diagonally across RCBC Plaza where Canadian Embassy is.

New Luxury Shopping Area in Makati!

by machomikemd about Greenbelt 5

A New Mega luxury shopping center in Makati! It is the final piece of the Puzzle in the Sprawling Greenbelt Complex area of Ayala Center here in the ritzy Makati Area. Greenbelt 5 boast of various high end local and foreign retailers and fashion houses and assortment of ecletic mid price and high end restaurants! and the newly redeloped, modern Ayala Museum.

the Area is Connected to other areas of Greenbelt like Greenbelt 4 and the Glorieatta Malls via the Elevated Walkway at Landmark Department Store. The Area has high end stores like Zara, Paul Smith, Bang and Olufsen, DKNY, Bally, Kenneth Cole, Escada, Laurel and others. Restaurants Include Myron's Place, Something's Fishy, Ayala Museum cafe, John and Yoko, Travel Cafe Philippines, Padre y Damaso and others. as you can see in the write up above, the stores here are high end so expect to spend much if you want to shop and splurge! how about some bally shoes or Zara Shirts or DKNY Belts or my favorite Louis Vuitton Iron Graphite Belt at nearby Greenbelt 4!

opens 10:00 am to 9:00 pm everyday. maxx out your credit card!

Halloween Tent Party

by DJ_Rolo about Cream

Every halloween there is this party at the NBC tent at the Fort. It gets pretty crowded and the drinks are really cheap. People dress up in some great costumes. the only thing i didnt like was the music. But if you are into House music you will love it. Its more of a rave. I believe its 600Php to get in. If you are ever out in the PI during halloween you should definitely check this out.. Its a Halloween party, so wear a costume!!
