5 star hotel in middle of Malate District

The Hyatt Hotel and Casino is situated at the Boundary of the Touristy Malate and Honky tonk Ermita Districts of the City of Manila but at the present, the Ermita District is being gentrified. The Hyatt and the Hotel is just walking district to one of the largest malls in the Manila Area (Robinsons Mall Manila) hence the location is strategic and the hotel also attracts large number of tourist particularly the Chinese, Taiwanese, Japanese, Koreans and Hong Kongers since there is a large State Owned Casino in the Middle of the Hyatt that Occupies 5 floors and is the country's largest gaming facility, featuring 123 tables and 626 slot machines (Resorts World Manila in Pasay City is larger but is Privately Owned, Ok!). It is a favorite Gambling Destination of Tourists and locals. It also has one of the best steakhouses in Manila (the Fire Place) where you can get Angus, Australian Wagyu and US Wagyu Steaks.

Unique Quality: the hotel has 378 rooms and rises at 33 floors high and has standard amenities for a 5 star hotel like the usual mini refrigerator and bars, the usual internet access and more but the main attraction of the Hyatt Hotel is it's proximity to the Big Shopping area of Robinsons Mall and the walking distance to nearby attractions in the Malate and Ermita districts and the Intramuros area and the biggest government owned casino in the complex.

service is alright, they value more to caucasian customers. its very obvious, like when I was in the elevator with a european and bellboy, the bellboy asked the caucasian if he needs help with his luggage but he didnt ask me.

Pagcor Casinos

by machomikemd

Gambling in the Philippines is Controlled by the Government Controlled Corporation the PAGCOR (Philippine Gaming Corporation) which is a virtual monopoly. Although Casinos in the Philippines are not as large or opulent or spectacular like in macau or the genting highlands of Malaysia, they still rein in the Cash Literally since Gambling is a favorite pastime in these parts. The Industry is booming and there are plans to make a Pagcor City, a miniature las Vegas type of Gambling City in the Reclaimed areas of Manila Bay to compete with Macau and Genting Highlands and the Singapore Marina for the foreign high rollers. A lot of Taiwanese, mainland Chinese, Japanese and South Korean tourist flock to the casinos here. There are no entrance fees or show money to be able to enter a casinos but Digital Cameras and Cam Phones are regulated as they want no pictures taken inside. Games available are many like Baccarat, pai Gow, Keno, Stud Poker, Big and Small, Poker, Craps and assorted video powered games and the famous one armed Bandits, the slot machines. (hey I'm a confessed gambler ok).
