What a dump!

Makati Prime Tower lists itself as a 3-star hotel and may have been so one day long ago. The space is fully adequate in the rooms but everything is shabby and not too clean. The aging infrastructure and the busy street it’s on offers basically no charm at all.
The hotel runs at the same price point as the much better Makati Palace

Unique Quality: Aging, sagging, unkempt structure on a busy, polluted street

  • Opinion of Price: less expensive than average

Poor accomodations

When I stayed in the Makati Prime Towers two years ago, I thought I had a great deal. Close to Makati shopping, and only $60 per night for a two bedroom suite. The suite was on the top floor of the towers. Only one elevator was working at a time during the day, and the other one would never stop at our floor. 33 floors up or down on the stairs was very tiring, and made you ready to return to the suite for a shower right away. Next trip, I think that a hotel outside Manila would be most convenient.

Unique Quality: Overall, to give the motel its due, the employees were very accomodating, from loaning us a transformer, to sorting out our travel arrangements with the travel agency. No pool, but because it was on the top floor, a great view of Makati.

More than just a typical hotel experience

The Makati Prime Tower Suites boasts of 110 serviced suites that range from full air-conditioned executive studios to two-bedroom suites, to luxury penthouses. With the diverse array of accommodations, there is more than enough to choose from. We maximized the use of the hotel's excellent recreational and leisure facilities which include a massage parlor, an outdoor pool and a spa. A restaurant that serves Filipino, American, Korean and other cuisine is also open for everyone on the lookout for a delicious fare. We just filled our tummies to the brim! The food, especially the Filipino dishes, are so exquisitely cooked. The service is excellent in Makati Prime Tower Suites! The hotel staff are very accommodating even if we have so many demands. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to my family and friends!

Unique Quality: With a location perfect for travelers on the lookout for a thriving cityscape, the Makati Prime Tower Suites is the most appropriate venue to go to. Its strategic site provides easy access to both Domestic and International Airports. Makati’s central business district is also in proximity. More so, entertainment hubs like Greenbelt, Glorietta and SM shopping malls are very near the hotel.
