Manila Airport Hotel

Easy Transit to Domestic Terminals.....

I have stayed here many times now. It is ideal for one or two nights, I use it when I am travlelling to and from Mindanao and then Back to England.
The good parts of the hotel are Location, Safety, friendliness of staff.
You cannot get a better locaton than this hotel if you are in transit , it is only a few minutes walk from the main Terminal though it is better to take advantage of the free shuttle service.
It is based in the Airport compound and I have therefore always felt safe there.
The staff have always been very friendly, I made many friends in the bar there from filipinos who are working at the airport! There is also a KFC and a chinese style restaurant which are satisfactorary. The hotel has its own drivers who can take you to local malls but they are more expensive than metered taxis. However I felt happier paying the bit extra than taking a chance in a Manila taxi!
The not so good side is that the hotel is looking worn and a bit forlorn. The superior rooms have double beds and I think are much better than the standard rooms.
There is also a pool , 2 internet cafes, massage and beauty. The bar also offers food, karaoke seems to be on every night!

Unique Quality: I really like this hotel! It is far from perfect but I always feel safe there and in Manila that is very very important!!! The closeness of the main airport is very comforting, no chance of getting stuck in one of those nightmare Manila traffic jams and missing your flight!
If you are only staying 1 or 2 nights this hotel is very good. If you are staying longer maybe a hotel in another location would be better.
