We really enjoy staying in serviced apartments, we feel they are much more spacious and comfortable than your average mega hotel. We stayed at this property for three nights and had a nice one bedroom apartment with a great view of the skyscrapers in Makati City. We had a small kitchen with two electric burners. Not the best equipped kitchen, but it was alright for our needs. Large bedroom with king sized bed. Nice bathroom with bathtub and shower. Our rate included a basic breakfast on the second floor. The serviced apartment has two restaurants, but you are only a five minute walk to the shopping centre, Greenbelt 1 and close to many good restaurants. The staff were a little disorganized during check in. We reserved a nonsmoking room and it wasn't available during checkin. Luckily, the smoking room was well cleaned and didn't smell like smoke. This hotel is owned by the ascott group. Normal rates are around $120 USD a night. They have great promotions on their website. They have two promos on their website, one for singapore airlines' frequent fliers for $90ish USD a night and one for citibank credit cardholders.
If you are sick of hotels and want to feel less like a tourist, this is a good option for discovering Manila.
True or False?
Is it impossible to get a 2 bedroom for a family of 4 at BSA Tower @ Legaspi Village for $70 or so (June) inclusive tax/breakfast? Is this a budget hotel? Are there 2 buildings? Heard there used to be complaints regarding pests.
Which stores are close to it - SM Megamall, Robinsons, Glorietta, Rustans, and Greenbelt? Heard it's only steps away from stores and better located (transpo, restos, etc.) than somerset millenium. Millenium (ortigas ctr?) seems to be very expensive but heard it's well maintained. Are they close to each other? Thanks
Hi there. I have heard about BSA Towers in Makati which is walking distance to Greenbelt and Glorietta. We stayed in Prince Plaza Condotel in Makati just right next to BSA and it was good. I booked through travelmart.net and they gave me good rates. Visit their website: http://www.travelmart.net/hl/makati-philippines.htm (this link will take you to hotels in Makati area).
BSA is nearer Greenbelt 1 and 4. but the other malls in the Ayala Center are walking distance to BSA and is interconnected to an elevated walkway.
i think BSA is some sort of a business accomodation/apartelle type? not sure though as i haven't really stayed in hotels here in manila :)
