best budget accommodation in makati city
hi there it's me again, also where can I safely stay in Makati city. I am after a budget accommodation and I am travelling alone. Anyone would like to show me the city when I get there? thanks.

there are several budget accommodation in makati city, especially along makati avenue. these are mostly 2-3 blocks away from the central business and commercial district (ayala avenue) and accessible by public transpo (jeepney and cab).
however, if you would like to be in the thick of the action, i suggest tower inn makati. it is just across the street from greenbelt, glorietta/ayala malls and along several dining establishments.

I would suggest Charter House, near the Greenbelt area (near Max's Fried Chicken). You may contact them at (+632) 8176001 to 16. If I remember it correctly, a night's stay costs about 2,500 pesos (about US$45). It's better than those located along Makati Ave as Greenbelt is right smack across the street and safety would be the least of your concern (i.e. no need to take a cab if you're going to Ayala Center, and very short, safe walk from the center of action in Greenbelt/Glorietta).

The Charter House if a great suggestion...if you like to stay in a hotel, the cheapest would be at the Dusit Hotel. Both are walking distance from the malls, parties, etc. Suggest we arrange a VT Meeting when you're in town...drop me a note if everything is as sure as it cna be so we can call on everyone!!! c",) CHEERS!

The new Ayala Museum is looking very swanky now; the cafe is a great place to hang out. Food's pricey but their desserts are good and it's just comfortable to sit with friends up to midnight and talk.
You might also look up the Somerset Olympia prices, next door to the Pen, and it's about P2,500 a night with free breakfast. A bit further from the mall, but relatively safe.
