Going to dumaguete via cebu
How long will it take me to go to dumaguete from cebu via ceres liner? I'll reach cebu, from puerto princesa, at around 2:30 pm. Will there be a bus trip by 3 or 3:30 pm leaving for dumaguete? I"LL BE TRAVELLING WITH MY 1 1/2 YR OLD SON and I'd like to know if travelling by bus wouldn't be difficult for a toddler.
It would be nice if someone could give me the trip schedule of the bus and the trip duration and tha fare rate :-) Thank you sooo much! We might leave on the 9th of april. THANKS AGAIN!

just read your posts... i'll ask my cousin who's from that area when i see her this weekend. i'm sure she'll have enough "text" pals who can get you some info, ok? as for your tyke in a bus, it may be easier to just hire a pajero/jeep for the trip. will you be meeing family or friends? if so they may be able to arrange something for you. good luck with your travels!
Puerto to cebu
Yup, there's a flight from puerto princesa going to cebu and vice versa. Via cebu pacific. :-)

Hell0 :-) Yup, I do have relatives there but i'm getting different answers from them! hahaha I have a cousin in cebubut he's much too busy to go to the bus station to ask around. Anyway, thanks :-)

Just one months ago I take the bus in the opposite way, form Dumageute to Cebu city.
I start from Dumaguete at 6.00 in the morning and I think I arrive at Cebu City at about 1 pm so about 7 hours.
Is a good, pleasant trip. Just choice the aircon bus.

When you reach the South Terminal of Cebu--there are two bus lines that you can choose from, Ceres and Sunrays. They have buses leaving the terminal every hour BOUND FOR BATO VIA OSLOB. The trip is about 3-4 hours depending on the traffic. I dont have any idea on the aircon bus fare but the non-aircon is just Php75.00 with Ceres liner. Upon reaching Bato Ferry Port, Rovi Shipping Lines have trips across the Negros Strait every hour until 5pm(definite about this) maybe 6pm(not sure, but Dumaguete-Cebu last trip departs at 6pm). Fare for the adult is Php45.00, crossing the sea lasts for 30minutes and you will disembark at Tampi.
YOU CAN BOARD A BUS DIRECT TO DUMAGUETE--but how often is the trip that I am not sure. I took the Ceres for Dumaguete-Cebu trip last 2003 and departure from Dumaguete was 12:00nn.
I'll try to verify the trip from Cebu-Dumaguete but no promises. Anyways, have a safe trip!
