Poor Customer Service - Little value for money
Me and my family stayed overnight from 14-15 April 2012. Do not be deceived by the lobby, rooms are old and needs refurbishment. Customer service is very poor specially at the cafe/restaurant. Waiters need to be told on what to do. There was a wedding reception during our stay, hence the pool is closed.
Hospitality and courtesy is at its lowest. One saving grace was the housekeeping personnel who helped set our extra bed, who had a genuine smile. Not like the rest who seem to care less about their guests.
Unique Quality: Nothing really. This hotel is overrated.

Molo hotel
Sarabia Manor Hotel and Convention Center is one of the well-known hotels in Iloilo City. It boasts of 184 rooms and suites, as well as its banquets and convention facilities. I have never really stayed in this hotel but visiting friends regard this hotel highly.

Anyone in Iloilo for the Dinagyang 2008?
I already planned a trip for Jan 24-26, 2008, just in time for the foot parade. Already checked the 2008 Dinagyang schedules. Anyone there to share some more info on what else is going on? Also would like to meet local VTers out there :)

hiya!
i hope you'll enjoy the event. Dinagyang's named the best tourism festival. make sure you get a ticket for the Sunday's Main Event. it costs about P600 (last year).

Yup, thanks Clarice! I got that one covered as well, hoping Smart will cover the event, it'll be a breeze to get one. I know an insider :-) Any trade fairs? I love big trade fairs!

will see about the trade fairs, no words yet... i think DTI & Ilonggo Producers' Association will set up 1 at SM CIty Activity Center.
i know there'll be street parties at Sarabia Manor Hotel & Smallville. & concerts at the parking area of SM CIty, Robinson's, Delgado Street near Amigo Hotel. Also there might be a 3-4-day Dinagyang Dart Tournament at the Mary Mart Mall.
