Legaspi Tourist Inn

by valbarcinal

Legaspi Tourist Inn has basic service, facilities and amenities. Its aircon room comes with a cable tv, hot shower. Unfortunately, it is located on the third floor but it is on the center of the city. It is accessible by jeepney, tricycle or you can walk to your destination.

Gladly there is a smiling receptionist. Breakfast is not free. Cheap at basic p700 single with no A/C. Aircon for double with A/C, cable tv, hot shower is p1200.

Wifi available only near the reception desk.

It unique and outstanding characterestics is it situated at the heart center, near all your expected destination, walk away from LCC mall.

Villa Angelina Hotel: Nice, decent hotel but not the best water

by Jimbo222

Everything the hotel is ok. I believe it is a botique hotel. Room have refrigerator, Airconditioner, and hot/cold shower. But the water stinks and i think it smells like eggs. I believe this is due to the water coming from the volcano and the "sulfur" content. It's not cheap also though

we're staying on the 3rd floor. when you checkout the window in the 3rd floor lobby area you have the great view of mount mayon right in front of you

Sampaguita Tourist Inn: Cheapest Place to Stay in Legaspi

by slazenger

My friend recommended this place. I think it has the cheapest rate in town and you can choose from fan to A/C to deluxe rooms. This hotel has restaurant where you can order foods at fair price. The room was good but the comfort room was not clean. The water is also odorous. There is a small TV in the room but the towel looks very cheap. A refundable Php100 deposit for the towel.

If you look for a cheaper and good place (not best) to stay, this place is for you. You can choose the type of room that you want.

There is WI-FI at the lobby. The room boys are approachable and kind enough to help.

The WI-FI at the lobby is good.

Dreams Inn & Cafe: Poor Service & Dirty Place

by slazenger

I searched this hotel at the internet and since the location is at the center of the city, near a big mall, I chose to stay here. However, when I arrived, my reservation was given to another guest. I even texted the frontdesk an hour before my arrival and they never informed me about my accommodation. I reserved an A/C single room but the room given to me was A/C Twin bed. When I viewed the room, I was shocked because it was dirty, especially the comfort room. As I went up the stairs (this inn is located at the 3rd & 4th floor), I smell something odorous and there were garbage in the stairs. There was a guest who checked out so the room was given to me but I waited for few minutes for the housekeeping. The water is odorous, no garbage bin inside the room. The room is too small.

I requested for a towel but it took me 3 calls thru intercom and when I said, "what year will you deliver the towel here?!"

I would never recommend this hotel to you who is reading this now. If given the chance, I could have found another nicer place in the city. It was raining when I arrived and it was my first time to visit Legaspi, so I'm not familiar with the places around.

The only thing that I liked is that, it is located at the center of the city, fronting the Pacific Mall and the public market is just behind the hotel.

Legaspi Tourist Inn: Comfortable Budget Place @ Downtown Area

by cyndymc

The Legazpi Tourist Inn is located right at the center of the Legazpi Central Business District. The inn has 24 rooms (19 aircon rooms and 5 non-aircon rooms), a secured parking area with security guards, outside line and intercom service in all rooms, TV with cable channels, hot and cold showers, and laundry and ironing services.

We learned about this Inn from blog reviews. Despite the fact that one has to go upstairs (no elevator) to go to the Inn, there are still many positive reviews on it. Having personally experienced how it is like staying there, I would recommend the place to travelers. Friendly and helpful staff, not luxurious accommodation, but clean & comfortable place, a/c and hot shower functioning well.

1) Great Location: about 15 minutes drive to/from Legazpi City Airport, walking distance to major malls, supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants, plaza, church, public utility terminals; one can easily hail a jeepney or tricycle from the Inn.

2) Reasonable Rates For Budget Travelers:*

Standard N/AC (Single) – Non Aircon room with hot & cold shower – Php 600.00
Standard N/AC (Double) – Non Aircon room with hot & cold shower – Php 700.00
Standard A/C (Single) – Aircon room with hot & cold shower, & CATV – Php 900.00
Standard A/C (Double) – Aircon room with hot & cold shower, & CATV – Php 1,000.00
Deluxe A/C (Single) – Aircon room with hot & cold shower, & CATV – Php 1,000.00
Deluxe A/C (Double) – Aircon room with hot & cold shower, & CATV – Php 1,200.00

*Rates may change; contact them for prevailing rates

3) Can arrange car/van rental for tour and shuttle to airport:*

Car Rental For Tour - P2,500
Van Rental From Inn To Airport - P250

*Rates may change; contact them for prevailing rates

Hotel Casablanca: It's OK!

by Dyesebel

Hotel Casablanca is probably not the best place to stay in Legaspi but it suits my needs;) the location is superb, just walking distance to the malls, like LCC,Embarcadero,Pacific Mall and many others.Staff are nice, friendly and helpful too.Rooms are quite old and noisy esp. if your room is facing the main road.Free transfer from and to the airport.

Sampaguita Tourist Inn: Affordable Accomodation

by barbie_sunrise

I stayed for 2 days. The Inn is just a few steps away from the main road. With only 625 pesos per day good for 2 person. Its just a small room but has its own bathroom and AC room.

Well, when we approach the reception area, I find one receptionist not so accomodating. But overall the Inn is good for budget traveller.

Dreams Inn: cheap place at Imperal st.

by picek

We got there very early after overnight bus from Manila - before 6 am. Saw that place from bus window and asked driver to stop so that we don't have to drive back to town. Asked for the cheap room - price was 250 P for one small room with fan, with one small bed - bathroom outside and no window. We were two so we were to pay another 100 P. Asked to change room so at least we have window and bathroom because it's breathless there.
Changed room (300 P because the bathroom), windows had no screen and bathroom was inside but altogether not looking clean. Walls were satined and laters we killed huge cockroach on the floor. TV was the only thing that worked but that's least important. Bed has plastic under the sheet so you sweat like a pig. Had to pay 100 P more because we are 2 of course.
Staff is very friendly and helpful and that's the only good thing about hotel.
There's internet in the ground floor - 20 P per hour.
Shopping mall in few feet from hotel - and hotel is guarded, of course.

Cheapest rooms are 225 P per person, add 100 P if you're two (but that won't include any bigger bed) with bathroom outside. 250 P room has TV.
Aircon rooms are 500 + P. Most expensive is suite for 1000 P. Didn't check those rooms, maybe they are much better than those cheap ones we saw.

Friendly staff but it's not the best place to stay, especially because Sampaguita is cheaper and much better quality.

Pepperland Hotel: Stone's Throw Away from the Airport

by litekimchi

After 2 nights in the spartan Woodlands Resort in Donsol, it's great to finally enjoy a nice shower (with great water pressure) in Pepperland. Some rooms have a tub, some don't. Ours didn't.

Buffet breakfast. If that's not enough, it's next door to a bar and grill.

Legaspi Tourist Inn: Comfortable transiency

by Yla

Inn is conveniently located at the heart of Legaspi City, everything is near by foot or a short tricycle ride away. The inn occupies the third floor of V&O Building, just past offices at the first and second floor. The inn has ample parking (building premises) and security, enough to give you a comfortable night until you get on your way the following day. Amenities are very basic (bed, linen, TV, towel, small soap), rooms simple but clean. Staff are accommodating and friendly for simple requests.

For June 2008, twin-share cost P900 for overnight stay. No breakfast.
