My Travel Itinerary to Northern Luzon
"First Taste of Philippines..."
This 1st trip is with compliments from budget airlines Airasia - thanks! Airasia! Well, it was a free trip in a way as you only need to pay for the airport taxes - so why not, since I have not been to Philippines... The offer was in Dec 2005 and travel dates for this was till Oct 2006. I have not really planned how I should travel in Philippines and did not even check whether the dates I have booked coincides with the typhoon season.... Some even say I was crazy as I don't even know where Clark is ..... the airport which the budget airline is landing. Anyway, this does not bother me as all I need to do is to find out more to move on from Clark to where I want to be..... and that was just what I did and had an exciting taste of Philippines.......
My Itinerary of Travel

Day 1 (4/10) Wed : Depart LCCT in Kuala Lumpur for Clark, Pampanga at 7.40am. Arrival at Clark Field "Diosdado Macapagal International Airport" at 11.15am. Walk about Clark/Angeles City/Balibago
Board bus at Dau Bus Terminal at 1.00am for Vigan/Laoag. O/nite in bus
Day 2 (5/10) Thu : Arrival Vigan at 8.00am. Decided to continue with bus journey and stopped at Batac at 9.45am. Visited Batac. Took tricycle to visit Paoay. Took same tricyle, crossing Gilbert Bridge to Laoag. Board bus at Laoag to Vigan at 2.50pm. Reached Vigan at 4.30pm . O/nite in Vigan
Day 3 (6/10) Fri : Left Vigan for Baguio at 1.45pm. Reached Baguio at 7.15pm. O/nite in Baguio
Day 4 (7/10) Sat: Left Baguio for Sagada at 1pm. Reached Sagada at 7pm. O/nite in Sagada
Day 5 (8/10) Sun : Sagada. O/nite in Sagada
Day 6 (9/10) Mon : Left Sagada for Bontoc at 6.20am. Reached Bontoc at 7.00am. Left Bontoc for Banaue at 7.45am. Reached Banaue at 10.00a.m
Left Banaue for Manila/Cubao at 5.30pm. O/nite in bus
Day 7 (10/10) Tue : Arrived Manila/Cubao at 3.15am. Depart Cubao for Dau at 4.15am. Reached Dau at 5.45am. Took the jeepney to Clark airport.
Flight departure of 4.30pm has been brought forward to 11.30am. Phew!, that was a close-shave, luckily we were at the airport early or else .........
Reached LCCT, Kuala Lumpur at 3.30pm :)
