Venesia Hotel: Olongapo Hotel Review

The room was cool and classy but the building itself was a bit too far from hotel standard from outside it looks like an aparment type building and it reflects from inside, roof was low doors are small.But considering the hotel was pricey the interiors are great just like the other venetian architecture everything in the room looks fancy overall the interior mask the appearance of the building.

The room is cool with its french architecture and decore. Its quite crowded because of the furniture but then you would love it because of the fancy things you can see. Services are quite good its takes them less 5 minutes to respond to your needs.

Herbie’s Mansion: Great location

Herbie’s Mansion is an affordable hotel/hostel with a cozy Filipino home feel situated near the the historic Subic Bay shoreline.

Located along Waterfront Road, the freeport’s premier location just steps away into a world of fun, adventure and relaxation, this hotel/hostel is conveniently close to all the action that makes Subic Bay the fun capital of Central Luzon.

Herbie’s offers clean and comfortable two-bed guest rooms with standard amenities (air conditioning, cable TV, private toilet and bath with hot water) and free wireless internet.

Standard rooms can accommodate a max of three persons, and they also have slightly bigger family rooms that can accommodate at most up to five persons.

Room rates start at Php 1,750 per day on weekdays, and Php 1,950 on weekends (as of May 2009). The room rate includes breakfast for two, but don’t expect a buffet, as the breakfast is more like tapsilog servings, with a choice of either fried tapa (local beef), longganisa (native sausage) or bangus (milkfish), served with sinangag (fried garlic rice), egg and coffee.

Herbie’s also integrates an affordable Filipino-style al frésco café bar and parking space for guests. There is also a small veranda on the second level that would be great for small group socials, and comes with a coin-operated (Php 5 per song) karaoke/video machine.

Along the boardwalk not far from the hotel are all sorts of activities that make Subic the destination of choice, including harbour tours, jet-ski, parasailing and banana boat rentals, as well as a scuba diving rental and adventure facility.

At night, one can avail of all the exciting restaurants and family oriented bars and clubs complete with Filipino entertainment groups right by the waterfront.

For me, the bayside location is probably its main attraction, best for just taking a leisurely stroll by the scenic waterfront early in the morning or just before the sun sets.

Its nice and the owner are friendly thi places is in San Antonio,Pundanguit.I can recommend this because reasonable price and with free breackfast.Nice view to the beach.

Baloy Beach Strip: So Many to Choose From

Resorts/inns/hotels near the entrance of Baloy are quite expensive and do not allow food inside their premises or ask for corkage fees.

For daytrips composed of groups or families with limited budget and want to bring their own food can choose from different resorts with cottages. You can cook your own food. The first few resorts near the entrance do not allow food or ask for corkage fees. The resorts from the middle part further are quite cheap- don't forget to haggle! They offer rooms for those who want to stay overnight, cottages for daytrippers and allow food.

You can grill your won food and buy fresh fish and seafood, fruits and souvenirs from hawkers who walk along the Baloy beach strip.
