Copacabana Apartment Hotel: the kitchen and the pool
The Copacabana Apartment Manila Hotel offers an alternative to the normal hotel experience. Even the most seasoned business traveler will find comfort in Copacabana Apartment Hotel. Newly-refurbished, the apartment-style accommodations of this 11-storey hotel are spacious and comfortable.
Me and my famly were very pleased, we stayed in suite room for about 3 nights.. didnt expect how big the room was, really surprised me..spacious enough for a big family.. although the lighting wasnt really good but that was fine for me.
Unique Quality: Pool is really nice and clean..great views from the balcony our room. The Kitchen is also great, has mini bar but no microwave but, will definitely stay there again.

The Mabuhay Manor: The Ideal Place to Stay for Filipino Balikbayans
I stayed at The Mabuhay Manor early this month with a small bunch of friends. Our stay was only for a night at one of the hotel's Premium room. The hotel might look small and compact when viewed at the front but once you get inside and stroll around, you'll see that it is actually quite spacious. My friends and I were graciously assisted by the hotel staff upon check-in. There was a quaint bridgeway inside that we had to walk through to get to our room on the second floor, which we liked. The hallways were elegant and carpeted but not lavishly so, which were fine with us.
Our room was good for five persons, with enough space for luggage and extra mattress. We found the room to be pleasantly clean and furnished with necessities like a cable TV, a well-stocked mini-bar, telephone, and two side tables. I also liked the fact that the room was brightly lit as I don't like dimly lit rooms.
Bathroom amenities were limited to only two persons though, and there's an additional charge for extra towels. Room service was prompt and efficient but the Wi-Fi connection was rather intermittent.
We loved the swimming pool, which was located at the ground floor beside the Sutukil restaurant near the Manor Suites. Complimentary buffet breakfast for two persons were provided for at the Lola's restaurant. We were given a choice of Filipino or American breakfast. Lola's has a traditional Filipino ambiance and serve local delicacies like puto, tuyo, and salted eggs.
Check-out at the reception was quick and the staff offered to get us a taxi from the hotel. In summation, we enjoyed our stay at Mabuhay Manor. Practical tourists can experience first hand the warm hospitality of the Filipinos at the hotel and Pinoys traveling from abroad will surely enjoy the hotel's ambiance, especially its friendly service and local dishes served at the in-house restaurants.
Unique Quality: Caters mainly to Filipinos traveling from abroad (i.e., balikbayans); its restaurants serve Filipino dishes and delicacies.

Kabayan Hotel Pasay: Same Hospitality For Premium & Budget Rooms
I have not personally stayed at Kabayan Hotel Pasay because our house is near Metro Manila, but I usually refer friends and relatives there so they can have a taste of genuine Filipino hospitality. At Kabayan Hotel Pasay, there is a room that will fit different individuals' budget and taste. Whether a guest opts to stay in its posh premium rooms or its modest dormitory, they will be accorded the same warm hotel service.
So far, my contacts like staying at Kabayan Hotel Pasay because it is strategically located near the MRT,LRT & Bus Stations. Also, it is only a few minutes away from banks, SM MOA, Manila Historical sites and the airports.
Unique Quality: There are different types of rooms to choose from. For budget travelers, the dormitory is usually the choice; many transit guests, salesmen, etc. stay there. It can accommodate 6 people in the 3 double deck beds. Each guest is provided with an individual locker and study lamp, and complimentary set breakfast and lunch, too. For more privacy and comfort, the budget traveler can get the single bed pad with study table, complimentary set breakfast and lunch. There's also a 2-single bed pad with the same amenities. Airport pick-up for guests taking the pads or dormitory can be arranged for a minimal fee. (It used to be P300, but might have changed.)
There are Superior, Premium, De Luxe and Family Rooms, too. The rooms rates are already inclusive of free breakfast & lunch and free airport pick-up. Check the website for updated rates and promos. Sometimes, they have special weekend rates.

Unique Quality: It's just in front of the Cultural Center of the Philippines. It's very near Manila (minutes away from everything) and at around 5:30 PM or so, you can experience the beautiful Manila Sunset everyone's been raving about.
