Swim, watch or just walk along the beach

by kylian74

Boracay beach is perfect for swimming, the place for sunbathing and watersports.
This is also considered to be walkers paradise because of wide, narrow to kilometers long white beach.

by cyberhunk

one of the attractions for foreigners and locals alike is the world-renowned boracay beach. Its cool blue crystal clear water and powdered white-sand makes it famous internationally.

Station 2

by machomikemd

Station 2 is a little bit less congested than Station 1 but not that much since it is here where you can find the famous restaurants and D'Mall (the only Mall in Boracay). Beach Wise, there is slightly less people but again Station 1 offers more space and privacy.

Shoot photos at the Boracay Beach

by dcmanicad

For most Filipinos, it is quite expensive to go to Boracay. That is why if you have the chance to come here, don’t waste it. Get your camera and shoot to your heart’s desire. The scenic Boracay shore line is must in photographs. The different water sports is sure to fill your memory cards with images. And don’t forget Willy’s Rock.

hi!I stayed in Boracay Beach Resort. It's very close to D'Mall and restaurants and just few steps to the beach. But the cottages are away from the noise. It's simple but comfortable.Just a friendly tip, avoid Cottage 111 because it's next to the garbage area;)

i chose to stay in white house beach resort instead. more secluded area. thanks for the advice though.

the boracay beach resort

by jocla

hi guys... just wanna ask your opinion about the boracay beach resort. we are planning to stay there this june because they gave us the most reasonable rate for 1 week which is Php17,000. i think the place is great but i haven't seen how the bungalows look like from inside. can you highly recommend this place for a couple?

Hi there! We stayed in Boracay Beach Resort last March and really enjoyed our time there. The staff are friendly and attentive.Check out my Boracay site,i have some pictures of the cottages.Just avoid Cottage 102,it's near their garbage area;)My husband likes this resort,so next time we'll definitely stay here again.
Enjoy Boracay!

I've heard good things about it from friends who have stayed there. I tend to avoid that area during busy times such as Easter, as the sponsored events around there can be very noisy, but in June it will be fine. The location is good - near some nice restaurants and bars, but not so close that you would be kept awake by them at night.

RE: RE: the boracay beach resort

thank you guys for the input. i'll keep in mind the cottage room number (102) that i will avoid.

hi, i didn't see any pictures of the cottages of the resort in your travelogue. where can i find it?

Nigi Nigi or Boracay Beach Resort?

by CHELLE_CIARA

Hello!

I'm still looking out for places to stay in Boracay for June of this year with my husband and my daughter (2 years)....
Which is a better place to stay in, Nigi Nigi or Boracay Beach resort? Both places gave us good rates....and since we've never been to Boracay before, we really have no idea how both places look...
HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLP!

hi! i dont remember Boracay Beach Resort. But me and my family stayed in Nigi-Nigi. Its good place to stay. Its a Nipa Hut. Located (i forgot what station) at right side of the island. Front of it you will see the big rock. Plus their breakfast is BREAKFAST. Meaning they have big servings. Have a wonderful trip!

My personal choice (especially as June is coming into raining season) would be Boracay Beach Resort. Things have the potential to get a bit damp and moldy in nipa huts during rainy weather!

RE: RE: Nigi Nigi or Boracay Beach Resort?

by sirenna

Nigi Nigi 1 is near station 2. No big rocks outside that one. The newly renovated Nigi Nigi 2 (north of station 1) is near "Willy's Rock".

RE: RE: Nigi Nigi or Boracay Beach Resort?

by CHELLE_CIARA

thanks everyone! I think I'll take Sirenna's advice and stay at the Boracay Beach Resort....she's right...just in case it rains, I'll have cable TV to keep my little princess occupied!

You've all been such a great help! Thanks so much!

I stayed at Boracay Beach Resort just last week. The staff were really nice. They will clean your room and change your sheets everyday. And provide fresh towels too. Since the place used to be the old Club Galaxy or something, the room that we got was the old nipa hut ones which might need to be renovated soon. They have new rooms though which you might want to check out. It was an enjoyable stay. I havent stayed at Nigi Nigi but it might be better if you stayed at NiginigiToo in St1 since you have your daughter with you.

yup. I was refering to Nigi-nigi noo's which is located at station 1 where you can see the willy's rock. Its a nice and quiet place to stay. Actually, some artist loves to stay there. Its a nipa hut... yes... not usually experienced in manila...
