Budget traveler's haven

I had a very enjoyable stay at Bans. The native style nipa hut facades and the trees that grew alongside them gave the place an island tropics feel that I loved more than the imposing cement structures of the pricier hotels. Inside, the cottage provided us some creature comforts like cable tv, a ref and a strong a/c we kept on the whole time. The restrooms, though narrow, were clean and the water pressure was strong and constant all throughout our stay. We were expecting to be disappointed because the rates were some of the lowest in Station 1. We really weren't expecting luxury. We just wanted a place that would charge us per room , not per person. We wanted comfortable beds, a clean private restroom with running water anytime, a strong aircon, a ref ,and cable tv. We were delighted because Bans met these requirements and passed with flying colors. The staff was friendly and accommodating. They cleaned our room daily and helped us arrange our island tour and trike ride out of Boracay. My only complaint would be that the free and very measly breakfast was only for 2 regardless of how many you are in the room.

Unique Quality: The great beachfront location and the great rates make Bans a great value for money place for families or friends who are here not for the pools or the amenities you can find in the city.
And because the huts are separate from each other, you don't have to worry about dripping on the floor passing through other guests' hallways. I loved the cute verandah each hut had were you could hang out and chill.
If you've come to enjoy the beach and the sun and sand, but would like a clean and comfy place to stay in when you'd like some r 'n r, stay at Bans.
