Beach front of Boracay Regency Hotel
by machomikemd
This Beach Resort cum Hotel has 285 rooms and is the first to recieve a Triple AAA rating from the Departmen of Tourism and why? Because this is the First Big Resort Hotel in Boracay (today you have the Bigger Shangrila Hotel Being Built) and this hotel offers 5 star luxury (and off course five star prices too!) like rooms with earthy bamboo and rattan pieces with lanais (except for standard rooms) overlooking the spectacular white sand beach. The hotel also features two swimming pools, gym, business center and a host of restaurants that serve international dishes (again at five star prices too!) plus other amenities like spa's.
Besides the roomy rooms and wonderful beach view (and the 4500 peso price of the room) this hotel really pack a wallop on the facilities and the spa! you should try the spa!
If you ever visit Boracay, i recommend you to stay at Boracay Regency Resort 'coz this resort gives " THE BEST " service to their guests..the staff are always smiling and ready to help.....two thumbs up !!! Rooms & facilites are very clean. They have 2 swimming pools with 1 jacuzzi. One of the top hotel & resorts in Boracay..i had a great experience !!!!
Beach front resort located at station 2 of Boracays white sand beach. Shops, restaurants and bars are just around..you don't need to look for them.
Boracay Regency Beach Resort, SR/DR/ac/bath P5500 and P6000, suite P8250; including breakfast. A larger hotel with well-kept, pleasantly furnished rooms, all with refrigerator and TV. Swimming pool.
I would not recommend this hotel to anybody. Not even to tourists who prefer to be on a low budget Boracay vacation. There are lots of other hotels to choose from, with the same rate, situated on beachside and would offer better service. This so-called hotel offered not even a passable kind of customer service to the guests. The only redeeming service we received from this place is the transporation we availed for straight from the airport to the hotel. Let's start from frontdesk, the crew is not at all friendly. Unlike the usual warm welcome we receive from the neighboring restaurants. They seem to treat the guests as nuissance to what other useless stuff they are currently doing ( always on the phone). Our room key is always stuck.. The room is REALLY small even for 2 people. It's clean but really lacks space. It was fine that the room was small as it is, the only thing that bothered us was when we left the room, there are a lot of guys hanging around the hotel. Freaky. In short.. stay away from this place.
Thank GOD I was with my family on my second trip to boracay.:D Atleast i didn't have to worry about booking and budgeting. Food was great. They even prepared candlelight dinner for us by the beach.

This is an absolutely perfect hotel for those who wants to relax just around the hotel. The hotel is near the beach, which a dozen others are also near, but not as beautiful as this one. It is really clean. Although the price is higher, I think it's worth it. It also provides great breakfast. One thing to mention about the pool though, it's only opened after 8am, so...sorry for those who want to go for an early dip.
they have a clean pool, nice beds(clean, most important~), and excellent position on the beach. You can get to the beach or the local shops within a few minutes of walk. Also close to several pubs if you are seeking for some exciting night adventures.
Boracay Courtyard Beach Resort: nice hotel but overpriced

We arrived there with a 2pm check in and they made us wait until 3:30pm to get to our room as they were still cleaning - not what we felt like doing after a long flight. The rooms was decent, the bathrooms was quite good but the buffet breakfast was HORRIBLE - the food was very awful, bland and overcooked - if you do choose to stay here I would suggest not to get breakfast in the package but get breakfast at a nearby cafe - such as Nigi Nigi Nu Noos e Nu Noos Noos (ridiculous name but good food!)
The dinner was also very horrible- the food was like nursing home/cruise ship food. No flavour and very unoriginal selections.
The facilties were ok - but the hotel inside is very hard to navigate your way around. I felt the price was too expensive for what we got compared to other hotels. The jacuzzi was not working while we were there.
Pools are ordinary, and are too cold- about 19 degrees when they should be about 27 degrees. I don't think there was much unique about this hotel. We paid 350 US per night for a basic room during peak time - over NYE 2007- which doesn't include the plus plus 22.5% extra VAT and Tax. Overall very expensive and overpriced!
The service was quite appauling - the staff were vague and unattentive, not many of them spoke much english. Can I mention again how disgusting the food was???

I thought the triple A rating of this hotel would assure me of a good stay but I was very wrong. There were rats running aroung in the ceiling and the security is very bad. My room safe was opened, I lost money and the management did not even apologize! Would you come back to this hotel if you were me?
