Great place, good people.
The rooms look their age, something like 20 years old. Despite that, the decor did have a island feel to it that my wife and I enjoyed. The bamboo flooring was surprisingly comfortable to walk on. I loved the balcony with the wind blowing and the sound of waves crashing on the beach.
The staff made every effort to accomodate us. They made all the arrangements for the activities we had planned. They have three resort locations on the island. They have their own private shuttle which was particularly helpful for getting home late at night from Mandala Spa.
Housekeeping kept our room nice and clean. Breakfast was good, room service was quick, the price was right.
The beach sand wasn't as fine as what you would find at the North end of white beach but we enjoyed it nonetheless.
Directions: South end of White Beach, also called Rocky Beach.
Located at the south tip of the island...
Very far from White Beach... far from the action and the gaiety...
But if you want solitude and relaxation... this is the place for you...
Unique Quality: Has its own jetty and their private boat will transfer you to and from the airport...
Directions: South tip of the island
Has anyone stayed at the Lorenzo South Resort? Tell me the good, the bad and the ugly. Am looking to go there mid May 2006.
Nice peaceful location, though a bit overpriced.
