Go to Station 2, look for Villa de Oro and Sanders Boracay is located behind Villa de Oro. Its not a resort in its true sense but fairly a regular hotel room. Nothing special, nothing to criticise of. Its a few step from the beach is one of its plus.

Travel Tips for Boracay Island
Amazing Blue Star fish
by cHeLLe28
I was so amazed when I saw a lot of starfish in the waters near crocodile island. If you go boating, this is one of the places included in the tour (particularly during habagat season). The starfish was so abundant in this area. I was able to count more than 10 in one location only. The water is so calm in this part of the island during habagat season and there is not much effort needed swimming.
Honest people

This is not really a custom but more of a trait. The people in Boracay are not just friendly, they're more importantly HONEST and helpful. On our last night, we had some drinks and grooved to the house music in Hey Jude. Heavy rain fell at around midnight so we decided to call it a night. The next day, had the morning swim, lunch & as we're about to check out, that's when we found out that my friend's wallet is missing. so we traced everything and asked around but we found nothing. we left contact numbers just in case it was found, & as we're about to board the plane, the staff from Hey Jude texted us that the wallet was found, everything's intact & can be pick up anytime. The staff from Sandcastles went the extra mile by shipping the wallet to Manila for my friend to pick it up.
That was the most awesome thing about boracay! Much has been said about the place being so beautiful, but we should put more weight on its people, they're genuinely nice. Thanks a bunch, and when we come back we'll still stay in Sandcastles and have a drink in Hey Jude. You guys rock!
Pack a little of everything
by cHeLLe28
Try to buy small bottles and kikay kits so that you can just refill it with different kinds of stuff that you frequently use. You never know when you might need this. This also keeps your things organized and provides easy access. Exemption would be shampoo, conditioner, and off lotion as this comes in sachets and would make no sense refilling contents in the mini bottles.

Holy cow! what is that??!!!.... that was our first reaction as well. Is it just an illusion created by the waves and the glaring sun?.....I love surprises, and this will probably make into the book of surprises that life has jump up on me. Yes, your eyes are not deceiving you, if you take a closer look, right in the middle of the water, is not another holy miracle, like what Jesus did, when he walked into the water, its a multicab, on a bamboo-raft being transported from one island to another. They must have done this before to know that this works, otherwise they wouldn't dare do this, as i always say....A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!!
Tie Dyed Sun Dresses and Shirts
by yellowbell
Look for those shops near the market and not those fronting the beach. Oh please, try to haggle if you buy those souvenirs. Tie-dyed sun dresses and shirts, shell earrings/ bracelets, colorful hats anyone? They can be found in almost all the stores that lined the beach of Boracay.
