Niginigi Nu Noos: Family friendly hotel in Boracay

I scouted high and low using internet sites and calling local travel agencies until I arrived at the decision to book directly with Niginigi. They gave me a discount of 10% off the published/offered rates. Upon fax confirmation of booking, I was given the instruction to deposit 50% (thru Allied Bank-Boracay account with PHP100 service fee for branches outside of Metro Manila) one week before my arrival date, balance to be paid upon check out. Aside from the discount, Nigi’s bedding configuration was very family oriented. Imagine, a cottage with one king size bed in the ground floor and two single beds in the loft, all for the price of PHP2,430/room/night, net of discount. PHP500/child/night. I brought my two kids ages 7 and 11 with me. That rate includes daily breakfast for all 4 of us. The clincher of the deal was the 2+1 promo. Pay 2 nights and you’ll get the 3rd night absolutely free! :):):) Welcome drinks consisted of anything listed in their drink list. Oh, did I mention that Nigi’s bar is famous among expat crowd?

Two adults plus two kids (7 & 11). We stayed 4 days/3nights inclusive of american/english/filipino breakfast and land+boat transfer. Total hotel bill: PHP8,460 approximately USD152. This does not include our lunch and dinner meals though but I assure you the total food/bar bill (PHP2,500 or USD50) is very affordable as well as superbly delicious.

Friendliest staff
Daily replenishment of in-room purified water supply
Beachfront
Has the best bar in all of Boracay
Affordable accomodation cost
Large food servings
Towel service for beach goers
Free concierge service
Very proactive in serving guests without being intrusive
Emphatic: Needs 50% down then balance during check out. Others, require full payment even before you reach the hotel. Did not even ask for Credit card guarantee

Crystal Sand Resort: Crystal Sand in between station 1 and 2

Since we went to Boracay during the lean season the accomodation price dropped to 50%. We just paid 2,100 for a superior room w/c would cost around 4,700 during the peak season. The hotel is ok. You can ask for beach towels anytime. The room is with cable tv, a/c, hot/cold shower, ref and your very own verandah facing the beach!

It's beach front and you are guaranteed to have a balcony facing the beach.

Good for 3 people: Cheap accomodation in Boracay

the last time i went in Boracay, i stayed in GP's Beach Resort. the room is not so bad at all. we got a fan room with one queen size bed and one single bed.

the bathroom and toilet is obviously newly renovated. GP is situated at station 2 and near d'mall where you can do your shopping.

SeaWind: My favorite...

SeaWind is special for many reasons...and somehow, I always end up lounging in their cabanas whether or not I'm a guest in their resort.
You get to choose from cottages right on the beach near their new pool (was under construction when I was there in August) or hotel type rooms away from the crowds...not that there are ever any real crowds here except during the busy season.
Breakfasts are always good and most of the time you'll be sitting in a table close to the owners who always make you feel at home.
In this area you get the best of Boracay...the peace and quiet you need when you want it and when you feel like joining the party crowd, take your time walking on the beach and hit Cocomangas just 5 mins down.

Blue Waves: Your own strip of white beach?

Very very close to Friday's is this blue and green house with 2 guestrooms for rent with glass sliding doors that fully open to give you an indescribable view of the sea, sand, and blue skies during the day and the stars at night.

Native type accomodation and all fun room, plus! they put mosquito net before it gets dark, for sure no mosquito bites. It's cheap, clean resort, friendly vietnamese owner and employee and it's relax staying there.

Excellent restrooms even it is a native type accomodation. I like the hangmat at the balcon.

Mona Lisa - White Sand Beach Resort: A Very Convenient Place

I like to stay in this place because it is unique for me, it is made of bamboo, and nipa hut, and the furniture is made with rattan.
.
Usually you live in Vancouver full of concrete building, some houses made of concrete and woods, and just for a while it nice to stay in a different invironment.
.
Get a room with fully airconditioned because it is hot and humid.
.
The staffs are friendly, and clean sorrounding.
.
A little bit of problem I look at the website before it is working, and now the website is not working, maybe it is only temporary.
.

In the middle of the place there is nice garden and when you go out of the gate the beach is there.
.
A very convenient place it is along the main road and everything.

RESORTS and COTTAGES

When booking accommodations in advance, find out if the resort is a beach-front property. Do not assume it is because more are located in the interior part.

so many to choose...: the best but try the other 'coz they had a lot

You can get book your accomodations from Manila whether cottages or hotel type lodgings. You have to make some reservation from the Agency. Or maybe just fly there and look for room to stay at very cheap prices.

it's in front of the beach!!!
