Nami, Simply Magical

Nami Resort does not have many reviews here to do it justice.

Nami Resort was a joy to be at right from the first minute we arrived. Truth be told, Nami Resort isn't very accessible as it is located at a very private beach in Diniwid instead of the more crowded areas in white beach. However, with the availability of the hotel shuttle taking you to anywhere you want , its no problem at all moving around in Boracay.

Our nami, Joseph, greeted us with a straw hat and a necklace and immediately you could sense the genuineness of the welcome. He was fantastic throughout the whole trip - preparing our towels and iced mineral water whenever we go down to the beach, welcoming us with cold drinks when we came back after a long day out and most importantly , he helped prepare a surprise romantic dinner for my girlfirend who is now my fiancee(after the trip)! Yes, she said yes when i proposed during the dinner.

All in all , my stay in Nami resort has been fantastic and we will definitely come back again. And just a point to note, the pictures in the Nami Album dont do justice to the place.

The camera can't capture what the eyes can see.

Nami Villas

The cliffside hotel seems so romantic, only i doubt if i can stay here sometime in the future since aside from the expense, Diniwid beach is not as nice as the White Beach, sand-wise

Unique Quality: The cliff side villas overlooking the beach seems so romantic....

High Price, Good View, Disappointing

Great Views, Friendly staff, PERIOD. Now, when you are paying this level, you want the hot shower to always work, and you do not want the sewer smell coming up from the bathroom drains and sink! Maybe it has changed since we were there last year...It would have to to stay open at its price level and location. Charming and tastefully decorated BUT am not so sure about the quality of the furnishing/decor, some did look worn/flimsy. Food was not bad but not exciting.

Unique Quality: Great Views.

The Best View of White Beach

There are many ways to enjoy Boracay. For some it's to hang out on the beach during the day and party at night, for others it's the perfect getaway from the city...
On one trip I took, the plan was to find a place on the island with the best view. After hiking through untrodden trails and walking up hundreds of steps, I found a place up on the cliff above Diniwid beach that was, at that time last year in July, being renovated.
It would be very difficult to describe what it is like from up there but I'm going to try...
Nami Beach Resort has suites perched perfectly on the side of the cliff overlooking the beach and you are afforded a breathtaking unobstructed view of the whole length of the island from that vantage point.
All the rooms are cozily done with parquet wood floors and huge glass windows and, the ultimate treat, a jacuzzi in every suite right on the terrace so you can soak and take in the view.
Among all the accommodation tips I've mentioned, this is the only one I haven't stayed at because, as I said, it wasn't done when I went there but from the time they reopened in the last quarter of 2002, the resort has been featured in several travel articles.
Without a doubt, I will be booked here on my next trip to Boracay.
One bedroom suites go for $150/room/night during the peak season and maybe about $30 less from July-September.

Unique Quality: Because it is away from the white beach, accessibility may be a bit difficult for those who want to go out partying at night because walking in the dark on Diniwid isn't exactly what you want to do.
There is a solution, though...invite your friends to your suite for a party!

Any comments for Nami, is it convenience to and from shopping area and restaurant at the night time. Thanks

No, not really. The restaurants, bars and shopping areas are on White Beach, and Nami is on Diniwid Beach. It's a long walk from the resort, and it will seem even longer coming back at night. Transportation is available from Nami, but the pick-up times are quite rigid, which leaves you little freedom.
Nami is better suited to those looking for a more secluded vacation.

Thanks for your advice. How about One Cresent Place, is it good ?

Much better location in terms of access to shopping, restaurants and nightlife areas. Looks nice, but I haven't personally seen the rooms.
