I stayed for two weeks At Paradise Bay Resort, its on the opposite side of the island to the main white beach area but, In my opinion its the best resort on the island because of how peaceful and isolated it is, and the sea view is amazing, unlike anything on white beach.

There is a mini zoo on the property, the rooms are all marble floors , kitchen, remote control ac, cable tv, fridge, patio , if you ask for a room on the first floor the pool is right outside your door with a swim up bar, walk across the lawn, lay on a hammock under a palm tree and the ocean is about 15 feet away.

Amazing place, the website with pics is
if you call and book directly, (do not book with a travel agent online u will pay about 5 times the price), anyway call direct to the number on the website, ask for Angie the german lady owner if she is not there ask for the manager, ask for the special room rate, they will prob give you 1500p per day, i got it for 1000p per day you might say your friend got it last may for 1000p per day, and told you thats the rate, they might just give it to you, since that is true.

Anyway, tell them when you will arrive in Caticlan your flight number and time, of arrival, they will send someone to meet you at the airport, and they will escort you back to the hotel, Loved that, felt like a VIP, you can take the free van to the other side of the island white beach during the day , spend all day over there and take a trike back to the hotel at night. I tip the van driver 50p or something, always, and the girl that picks us up at the airport, the same, I believe, They appreciate it a lot.

Have a great time, everyone i have sent to that place loves it

Hiking / Walking - Boracay by foot

by boracayinformation

Hiking or discovering Boracay by foot is a great thing to do. Best start early in the morning - bring some cold drinks and an E-Z Boracay map. You could start your tour at the Red Pirates Pub in Angol. Hike the little road up hill, cross the main road and walk down hill to the right till Tulubhan beach. Turn left and follow the small trail behind Paradise Bay Resort. After awhile you cross a little bright - the Dead Forest is at your left side. You reach the end of Bulabog Beach - walk along the shores and watch the Kitters and Windsurfers there. At the end of Bulabog beach is Bay View Hills, continue up hill and you will come to Mount Luho, one of the highest peaks on the island. Great panorama view over Boracay. Walk along the little road, keep left, pass some parts of Boracays golf course, see big trees, watch out for rare birds. Turn right on the main road - after 20 minutes find a sign board to the left: Baling Hai Resort. A great little place on top of the cliffs with superb ocean views. Some stairs bring you down to the Baling Hai beach - a perfect snorkeling area. At the end of the massive rock on the right is an underwater cave with pool inside. It´s an easy dive. Cross this rock later and you are on Punta Bunga beach. Walk up hill, turn left and follow the road till a crossing to the right - walk down the hill to Ilig Iligan beach. At the end is the Bat cave - there is an small trail which brings you to Pukka Shell beach. Back to White beach take a boat or ride a tricycle.
