Watch the sun go down
by syllybabe
We usually stay in resorts up in station 1 so by around 4pm, we would start our slow walk on the white beach, stopping to browse at the shops or for a swim. By 5 we'd be sitting comfortably in beach chairs in front of Charl's bar waiting for the sun to set with happy hour drinks on the table. It's the best place to watch the sunset...I don't know if it's because people just have a tendency to congregate here at this hour or if it really does have the best view. Either way, sunsets here have always been great...and interesting...and always the start of a fun, fun night.
Refreshing "Buko"
by bike_packer
Gone snorkeling and island hopping around the island, at one snorkeling spot an enterprising local islander paddling in the water on top an old surfboard loaded with more than a dozen young coconuts (locally known as "buko") was making a killing. Tired and a little bit exhausted diving and swimming into the water, snorkelers couldnt help but buy from this i-know-what-you-need-most entrepreneur the young coconuts for that needed recharge.
We paid P100 for 3 pieces - not bad.
Trivia: Being a tropical archipelago, Philippines is the 2nd largest producer of coconut and its products in the whole world.
Frisbee
by cyndymc
Frisbee is another favorite activity on the beach. It is best done during early mornings or sunset when it is not so hot. No expense if you bring your own frisbee. Bring your own frisbee or buy from hawkers on the beach
Coast line Buruanga - visit an secluded beach
by boracayinformation
This day trip is done best by an boat trip from Boracay. You even can ask around in Boracay`s dive shops, since Buruanga is one of Boracay`s favorite dive spots - may be you can ride with there boat even your are not planning to dive.
You will sail along the coast line of Buruanga, unspoiled beaches, high cliffs, small fishing villages, tropical forests - there are still wild monkeys - the landscape reminds me to the area around Krabi in Thailand and it is very beautiful there. To your surprise, even it`s so closed to Boracay, by banka not more than 40 minutes, there is no touristic development at all. It`s like Boracay 30 years ago. Stop at Tuburan Beach, a small romantic unspoiled White Beach. There is even an fresh water spring near the cliff at the end of the beach. From here you can visit Batasong Point. An old man build some ways around this cliff leading you through an cave to the Blue Lagoon. You can walk for hours along the White Beaches there, passing some sleeping fisher villages with friendly locals. You will find caves, water falls and may be get the chance to watch some wild monkeys. Tuburan Beach has it`s own house riff - perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Find your place under an large tree, just relax or read a book, make a beach BBQ or camp fire but please: Leave nothing back but your foot prints in the sand. Other travelers like to enjoy this Eco paradise too.
The friendly fisher man on Tuburan Beach, Raul, can bring you to the nearby small town of Buruanga - Alegria where buses and jeepneys bring you back to Caticlan. It`s only 18 km by road and you will have an beautiful panorama view over Boracay.

by DJ_Rolo about Slipper Store at D'Mall Palengke
I dont remember the name of this store, but there are other posts here with the name included. This is a really cool store located in D'Mall. They sell custom made slippers as you can see in the pics. They can make anything from Cartoon characters to certain body parts to regular Boracay slippers. I had regular slippers made with Boracay straps and certain colors for a total of 250Php. it took them 1 day to make. They have some really cool ones to really funny ones. I wanted to get more as gifts, but didnt have the time, ill definitely be going back here when i go back to Boracay.. I spent 250Php on some custome made slippers
